Only shoe I wear. 71 years old. FitBit stats: walked over 30 million steps; 38,000 flights of stairs (passed the space station); 14,500 miles; 100 days short of 5 straight years (rain/sleet/snow/shine) without missing a day. Gone through approximately 50 pair of Addictions. All this started approximately 6 months after knee-replacement surgery. Can't wear anything elseor won't. Would never give up a great thing. My wife also wears Brooksseveral different styles. Thank you Brooks!

Good fit. I don?t run but support and comfort are important. I liked the Addiction 13 and these keep to the tradition.

These are the go to for my husband. Order time after time. They work well with orthotics.

Great everyday shoe. No need to wear my orthotic in the Addiction 14. They don't hurt my feet or heels, they are supportive and I have room for my orthotic if I need to wear it. I use the Beast 18 and Transcend 6 on my feet pounding days. Love this Addiction 14 for everyday shoes. Very comfy and supportive. I feel like I can wear them forever. I did wear them all day once for about 12 hours and my heel spur didn't bother me. Very good support shoe in my opinion, maybe a little softer and less rigid than the Beast 18.

Great running shoe. Coming from the Dyad, it?s now as soft but has much more support in the arch.

Love the brooks addiction walker 2 but for some reason they get torn at the same spot. This is my fourth pair in a little over a year. I'm a concierge. I walk 4 miles a day for 5 days indoors. I will continue to use them because they're the best shoes i've ever worn!

I typically wear shoes in the Ghost and Adrenaline line but chose Addiction due to the more narrow width option. The shoe is comfortable and width is perfect. Great stability when I run. One significant issuethe left shoe left side toe box developed an unexplained "dent" that occasionally rubs my toe. The "dent" is visible on the outside. It's a problem.

Not sure if these are recent changes, but the tongue is about 1/2" to 3/4" too short. As a result it often pulls under the top lacing. The laces themselves are also about 1" shorter than needed to tie easily. Otherwise a great shoe.

The fit was as I expected from Brooks, but more comfortable walking & running. The looks are pretty ho hum but serviceable. The only time I have ever found Zappos fulfillment lacking, was that these shoes were repacked without any support in the shoes and one of the shoes has permanent crease near the toe. If they were dress shoes would have returned them. This is the first problem I have experienced any problem in the 15 or more years I have been buying my shoes from them.
I'd also recommend:

I've been wearing Brooks Addictions for over 10 years now. I have numerous orthopedic problems in my knees and ankles, custom orthotics, and extremely wide flat feet. The Addiction is practically the only shoe I can wear. And fit wise, it is and had been perfect (although I wear a full size larger in Brooks than in any other brand).
That said, this new model, the 14, is a disappointment. The new mesh upper is showing tremendous wear and is beginning to fray, which has never happened before. Also, and this has been an issue for years, we need more colorful choices. All three are just black and grey, and have been for years. So many great looking shoes here, that I can't wear.
You've been 5 stars for years, but this new one is probably a 3.

I really like these. They look nice, and support. The only issue is I wear them out quick. 2 months, 250 walking miles, they are done. I feel them “lose it.” At this rate that’s six pairs a year! I did start the last cycle at 240 lbs, down to 220 and dropping so I guess I need to buy the tools that are working for me.

Overall satisfied. the fit was true to sizing and they are comfortable. I regularly wear athletic shoes daily. my only negative is the material does not clean well and they can become grungy too quickly.

I really needed a extra wide 4E, but there was not one shoe in that width on the website.

The Brooks Addiction 14 is a solid shoe. As somebody coming from a minimalist shoe, I am adapting to the added structure and support in my new Brooks runners

Feel like this is supportive shoe, but not as comfortable as pair of Ghost shoes I last bought. I?ve only had this shoe for a couple weeks & it?s still pretty stiff, but hoping it?ll loosen up.

Great shoe. Bit of an issue with the posterio-lateral aspect of the removable sole insert. Dogs a bit into the code of my foot. Otherwise the shoe is solid, well constructed, supportive but the sole still bothers me after a number of weeks of use

Only had for a week or two. I don't use as a running shoe. It's my work shoes in which I do alot of walking daily. So far so good. We'll see how they hold up. Bought to replace my NB shoes which unfortunately didn't last very long

If you have a short foot with a high arch and also a wide foot, this fits very well. It?s a great basic do the miles and be comfortable shoe.
