I've been using the Brooks Addiction model shoe for my running for the past 20 years. They give me the support I need using orthotic inserts I get from my doctor. I used to wear the "Beast" model but they were unnecessarily big, heavy, and clunky for my 140 pound frame. The Addiction gives me the required support to prevent over-pronation without much additional weight. The 14s appear to be just another improvement. If Brooks ever stops making these shoes I'm in big trouble. I run 3-5 miles three times a week plus races. So I run about 500 miles a year and I replace my Addictions every 12 to 18 months. They are great!

My podiatrist suggested I buy Brooks shoes because of the support the shoe provides. I feel less ache and pain since wearing and working out in Brooks. Bill

I love these shows. They fit perfectly. I have a wide foot so it is hard for me to find the correct shoe. This will be my 6th pair of Brooks shoes. I will never change brands now.

Very comfortable for bad toes and sore feet.

I am not a runner. I wanted a shoe with support and cushion. A foot doctor recommended Brooks shoes to me years ago for casual/sport wear. Have been using them ever since.

I rated the addiction as five stars because it is well-made, I did not need to break the shoe in and it's comfortable. The addictions seems to be sized a little bit differently than the adrenaline. I wear a 14 D in the adrenaline but a 14 D in the addiction. is a little to big long and wide for my feet. Overall I am completely satisfied with the addiction

The width is very good for my foot. I would like to see more room available to accommodate my high arch. I lace the shoes up but leave the last eyelet open to allow more room.

My husband loves his new sneakers. He has worn them every day since they arrived. He has wide feet and alot of mobility issues. Most of these wide shoes are white or black and clunky looking. These Addiction 14s are stylish and comfortable. His running days are far behind him, but he is looking good.

Overall my favorite running sneaker by far

I have worn the Addiction shoes for over 15 years now. It?s the only show that truly fits my feet (Size 15b). I wear this shoe everyday and and generally get a new pair about every 6 months. I also wear the Addition Walker as my dress shoe.

This shoe does a very good job of controlling overpronation.

I use the addiction 14 for my job as a mailman in the warmer weather. I have been using them recently . It?s a great Sneaker for me, for a host of reasons . I have flat foot problems , ankle problems , chronic plantar fasciitis and have trouble finding a sneaker that covers all that without having to buy bulky Medicad approved sneakers. The addition 14 so far works great for me. They are relatively light and provide great support while being comfortable and the best aspect of the sneakers is the the ability to use your orthotics while being able to choose the width that works for you . So many brands have gone the way of making very narrow tight fitting sneakers designed for runners only. To find a sneaker that accommodates a wider flat foot without the bulk is what people need. Thanks for designing sneakers that accommodates all types of people . I would absolutely recommend this sneaker and I?m looking forward to trying the addition 2 sneaker as well .

Good fit. I don't run but support and comfort are important. I liked the Addiction 13 and these keep to the tradition.
