The shoes felt really nice and there was a nice amount cushion. I wasn't a fan of the colors for the Independence shoes.

Either sizing is off or my feet are. Well made. Tried 11.5 D = too tight, too short; 11.5 Wide = too big and 12D = too big. Could not win.

I thought the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 20 had too much cushion and it caused me pain during running. I previously ran in the Brooks Ravenna.

I wanted these to work so bad, but they were to narrow and unfortunately I could not find them in wide. Sadly I had to return. If you normally wear a wide, then make sure to not order these in medium width.

I have the Brooks Adrenaline GTS18 in a men's size 10, EE width. Run in them 5x a week, ~15-20 miles a week. Great shoe. Bought the GTS20 in the exact same size. But! I can confirm the GTS20 runs a half-size larger than the GTS18. The sole is slightly longer on the GTS20 model. So: I'm exchanging the GTS20 10 EE for a size 9.5 EE. Otherwise, the GTS20 width, weight and construction was very similar to the GTS18 model. Recommend this shoe for folks with low arch support. Super comfortable with springy feedback and stable support platform, feels great. Will still be wearing the old GTS18s for walking the dog :)

Nice shoe. Toe box to narrow for my feet also a little short. Looking forward to my first Brooks this model just doesn’t work for me.

I have been wearing the Adrenaline for years. The GTS 19 was a much better shoe. The 20 seems to have been cheapened, with a loss of cushion in the forefoot, and a looser and harder heel cup. This has happened before - where they introduced a lamer version of the GTS and then the next one was better. Brooks should know better. Re-educate the guy that decided to mess up this shoe, and put out a better one. Brooks can do better.

I no longer believe that I have to "break in" my arches with a pair of running shoes. Though these were exciting to be wearing I feel that after trying on many running shoes/athletic shoes/sneakers that I should feel comfortable as soon as I slip into them. Unfortunately, this just wasn't the case. Also, can anyone pont me in the direction of transparent and updated ETHICS scores of these major competing athletic entites? Thanks.

Disappointed by change from GTS19. Toe box narrower and cushioning too firm

Being a big guy (6'3 310lbs) the shoes felt comfortable for doing daily walking for me and casual activities. When it came to walking/jogging I think my body is to much for these shoes. Constant supination in mainly my right foot (ridding on my 5th ray), then causing shin pain. I think they are a good shoe, just can't take the pounding I put on them.

I was surprised how uncomfortable these shoes were. I have ordered Brooks Beasts for years and they were great. These felt like I was walking on cement. I returned them and I look forward to getting my Brooks Beast.

I echo others here who have mentioned the shoe fit has changed from previous models. This seems to be a recurring theme with other shoe companies as well. Not sure what the issue is but the lasts shoes from Brooks, New Balance, ASICS to name a few are built on have changed. Even the Merrill Moab has changed and not for the better from a fit standpoint. With this stated, the Adrenalin 20 is a usable shoe for walking or whatever you do physically. A shoes fit is a top priority for me and am just finding it harder to find much that works anymore.

Ordered the GTS 20 shoes in a 13 4E. Shoes felt shorter in length and not as wide as needed. I returned the shoes because of these issues.

Hasn't been good since the GTS 18. Wish they would provide more colors in 4E.

Much better (Except laces are too long) than the adrenaline's from 2019 and 2017, which were horrible (They were heavy and broke down quickly) not as good as the 2012 and 2018 models(lightweight which I loved). Similar to the 2015 model in weight.

The fit for plantar fasciitis at the heel was excellent. However, the drop from the heel to the toe left no support from the bunion to the toe.

I wish the toe box was wider. Why do most shoes curve in so much? Most toes I've seen don't go curve in. We need more space for the toes! Also, I wish this shoe had better arch support.

I bought these for treadmill running and while the fit and feel is good they slip easily on the treadmill. Bad enough I can’t trust a mild paced run without fear of injury. I guess I’ll have to try others in person and hope for an improvement.

As someone that has been using GTS 17s for the past three years, I wanted to try to latest version of my go-to shoe. I run about 6-8 10Ks and half marathons per year and the GTS 17 has served me well. But, it's becoming nigh impossible to find them anywhere nowadays. I really wanted to like the GTS 20s, but the GuideRails were not working out. I did three 3 mile test runs and after each one, my left ankle, calf, and inner side of knee were sore. The soreness goes away overnight and I don't think there's any real damage, but this is not normal for me. For reference, I ran a PR in a 15K this month in my GTS 17s and felt great afterwards. The GuideRails are too much of a departure from the pre-GTS 19 model that I've grown accustomed to. For any long-time GTS runners, I would give these a shot, but start slow and do some test runs as the GuideRail system is much different. Bonus: they look awesome!

I tried a size 14, it was very tight. I tried a size 15, it was very loose fitting, just not comfortable.

I have not run with this shoe. Right now, I'm just using it for every day wear. I really like the comfort and cushion so far.
