this shoe is amazingly comfortable and while I am pleased- I could not give it a five star rating is because the tongue of both shoes does not stay centered- I have it laced correctly (the way it came to me) but the tongue continues to slide off to the side. for others that may be interested- I did have to get a 1/2 size larger due to cushioning.

Not the same as my other wave running shoes. The back of the shoe rides up and rubs my heel. I prefer the lower top for running like my other ones that have been discontinued....very disappointed.

These shoes have been terrible for running, circuit training and walking. The heel slides up and down with every step. There is almost no support for the footbed.

I bought this shoe in the bluish color and LOVE IT. It fits perfect in all ways. I purchased the same size in black and it is way to snug. I'm so disappointed. I will have to return it. I plan to exchange for the same size and hope it was just a fluke!

Great cushion and roll but very constricting in the toe box, on this model, and every Mizuno running shoe. Even in 2 sizes larger than my foot size (I am an A/B width by the way), my toes are still constricted. Also, the shoe laces are so short that you can't make a bow. I'm forced to tie a knot and painstakingly untie the knot, several times a day. When I called customer service and asked for a pair of laces of normal length to be sent to me after my order, I was told they wouldn't do that. As far as the company and website, whenever I did a search for a shoe in my size, the results page would show dozens of shoes. However, when I tried to order them in my size, it showed they were Out of Stock. When I emailed my complaint regarding this matter, I never got a response. Don't recommend the shoes or the company.

The sneakers are comfortable, but after working out in them for a few months I developed some sever pains in both feet. I recommend these for a walking or casual day shoe, but if you plan on running or working out in them 3x or more per week, beware - the comfort level is deceiving.

I have enjoyed running in Mizunos for years. When it came time to buy another pair, I was discouraged to see that Mizuno had changed the design of the Wave Sky, removing the firm plate in the sole. Since foamy/cushy shoes seem to be all the rage these days, I thought that perhaps it was time for me to advance my thinking, so I bought a pair of the Wave Sky 3s. Bottom line is that I really miss the firm base plate of the previous Wave Sky shoes. When I walk in the Wave Sky 3's, it feels a bit like I'm walking in sand. Every step is a little more difficult than usual. When I run, the sand-like experience is pronounced. Every step feels squishy. I also found that my little nagging injuries (mild bunyons, achy knee, stiff back, etc) all felt a little more painful than usual. It made me remember why I discarded the only pair of Hokas I bought years ago -- they didn't offer me enough underfoot stability. It appears I am in the minority so I am losing hope that I will ever find a nice, firm shoe again. If anyone has suggestions for a Mizuno alternative I am open to them.
