These shoes are great. I’ve been a long time wave rider wearer, but I wanted to try out something with a little extra cushioning and these did the trick. I felt like there was still a good amount of support despite the extra cushioning. The knit fabric doesn’t have too much give like some of the other popular knit fabric shoes (I’m looking at you, ultraboosts) so you don’t lose that structure. I always go half a size up in mizunos and that rule worked well for these.

Overall, a good sneaker. However, I had two issues with it. I didn’t like the look of the half white half black sole in person. Also, the material that supports the heel of the foot is slippery, so my heel would slide out of the shoe.

Too narrow in the toe box, and I'm 5 feet 7 and 106 lbs. so I have no fat on my feet and measure an 8 & A/B width. Most women are accustomed to wearing shoes that cram their toes together so most don't mind it, but I do, and went with New Balance which gives way more room for toes so they don't over time become deformed from being constricted. Shoe laces too short, so short you can't even tie the shoes up all the way. Customer service is horrible, refused to send longer laces. And my first review was not posted, so I will keep posting until my review is posted thank you.

This shoe has excellent support for a shoe that uses knit material. It is well made and comfortable - now that I've sized up and up! Size is *at least* a full size smaller than what you will need. I wear a 6.5 in a sandal or slippers, but because of a wide forefoot, I wear a 7.5 in a running shoe. In the photo, you can see how the blue Mizuno - size 8.5! is the same size as my old Hoka Arahi shoe - which is a 7.5. (The one with the pink sole is the Arahi.) Still, I think worth the work of finding the right size.

I’ve been a Mizuno devotée for many years despite being a pretty slow runner who maxes out at 3 miles per run. I ordered several different pairs - Wave Riders, Wave Sky and Wave Creation. I settled on the Wave Sky in my typical size 9. I’ve sized up before on Mizunos and I contemplated sizing up with these but ultimately decided size was fine. The Wave Sky in gray was the most aesthetically pleasing. Let’s face it, Mizuno excels at function but fails on style. Their shoes have always been pretty low in the style department but the gray Sky in knit is acceptably cute.

My foot is on the wider side. This shoe has plenty of room. Very comfortable. I used to wear the wave rider for years and these feel like the old wave riders from 5 years ago. Stiffer feel flatter in the toe area which is good for my feet.....

Love love love!!! I've always used mizuno shoes for off season training in college (when I didn't have to wear my team shoes) and for running my mini marathons but these take training to a whole new level! Truth be told I've never had a complaint about mizuno shoes but these are the most comfortable and most supportive shoes I've had yet!

I am always between sizes. Tried the larger of the two usual sizes and this shoe- as others pointed out, way too small. Have ordered up a size and staying hopeful they'll fit.

I really liked the shoes but then after walking a distance my toes would go numb. Not sure why since they don’t feel tight in the toes box. They got painful

This is my second review about this shoe. They look great but as a pair of shoes to wear, I discovered even with a few tries in my home that even though they are "knit" they are stiff is a way that is uncomfortable. Disappointed.

I run in several styles depending on length of my run, and I'm not really sure I would like this shoe for any of those. I run 20-25 miles a week and am a runner in my early 30s without joint issues. The footbed/cushion is neither firm or padded and cushioned. The cushion somehow feels very flat, and yet cushioned in a way that feels like my foot sinks down into it without any bounce and thus creates inefficiency. It's like an old hotel pillow. Would not recommend or buy again.

I tried to run in the shoe and it felt very thin and loose, my feet hurt after.

These are my favorite running shoes. I've battled plantar fasciitis and these still allow me to run comfortably. I have purchased 3 pairs of these same shoes now.

OMG!! These are the most comfortable running shoe ever. Before wearing these I was experiencing some lower back issues. Since wearing these to work out my back issues have stopped.

Love these shoes! In fact, I now own 3 pair!! I bought my first pair (in a brick & mortar store) because I was having issues with my right knee and needed a shoe with plenty of cushion. I enjoyed the first pair so much that I ordered 2 more directly from mizunousa.

This shoe fits well in the recommended size, which is 1/2 size larger than one would usually wear. It does not stretch much, which is excellent, but it is light and airy, and in the south in the summer, that is a wonderful thing. The wide width still has a narrow enough heel that there is no slippage. The cushioning is good without being mushy and protect my knees and back without being hard to walk in. The arch support is adequate. This is an excellent shoe.

Love these shoes. I underpronate and they have cushioning at outer edge of sole that helps me tremendously.

Very comfortable. I was worried about them not being wide enough as I have a large bunion on one foot. No worries. They fit great and I do 5 miles a day walking.

Lightweight shoe yet provides ample cushioning. Like my other Mizunos, these run a half size smaller than other brands. Not very stylish, but at least they come in black. Very expensive, but I'm loyal to this brand and can rely upon their fit, support, and quality in a running shoe. These shoes are so comfortable that I walked 8 miles in them the first day they arrived.
