Loved these shoes!! They were extremely comfortable from the moment I put them on. There was no breaking-in period! I want to order another pair in a different color.

These fit great - true to size. They do not offer me enough arch support, so I remove the New Balance insoles and replace with Powerstep Pinnacle insoles and that makes them PERFECT. These look nice. They perform well at the gym for my rigorous workouts.

These were comfortable from the moment I put them on—it’s a different design with a tongueless fit. I always re-lace my shoes so that the laces are not tight across the instep—every other hole—it’s all I need to do to adjust the width for my foot.

I am officially worried. I came back to Zappos looking for another color of this shoe because it is working soooo much better for me than anything else. It is sold out in all colors in my size and no new version even. New Balance, please please please keep making this shoe and don’t change it!!! I have multiple problems with my feet and I feel better when I wear this shoe. It feels like the heel is just a bit lower than my other shoes (and than the ball of the foot) and stretches out the plantar fasciitis while wearing it! That is just how it feels to me. I don’t know that is happening but I can walk and stand more with less pain. If it was acting up, switching to this shoe will help me. It also feels more cushioned under the foot—yet very stable! The top gives ok structure to the sides of my foot. I would like a little better there but not worth risking the other benefits going away... I can not comment on the arch support because I use prescription orthopedic insoles. Thank you for the removable insoles so I can do that because I need to... I have to wear socks which this shoe is clearly not designed for—they are difficult to get on and to keep the socks from bunching as you do it—but it is usable this way. I know—not the best look—but I’m past the point of that being even a choice. All said this shoe is cuter and more comfortable than any other athletic shoe I have and honestly better than any other style as well! Love it! I want more colors. I have the dragon fruit which is close enough to coordinate/work with burgundy. I would love some other solid classy colors I could wear with casual outfits as part of the outfit (not multiple colors that stick out as a separate design but things that will coordinate with your everyday non athletic clothing). Pretty please, New Balance???

I'm a cashier at a very busy retail store and these were comfortable from day one.

So sad these are sold out. Purchased the wides after trying many. Active 45+ YO, 5’8” with a sore bunion from high heals every day. Love the comfort. 5-8 miles 6 days per week, treads lasted April 1 - Oct 1 (and casual wear in between.) looking for comfort and relative styling? Highly recommend.

Where have these shoes been all my life? I’m a cashier at a busy store, on my feet for hours. These are the first shoes I have tried in which I did not need to add any support inserts. I will be saving for another pair.

These are cushiony and comfortable. They fit pretty true to size. The tongue is sewn in which I usually don't like because I have high arches and problem feet, however, the shoe stretches so it works out okay.

I wish these shoes has fit my orthotics. Otherwise they were very comfortable and looked really cool.

You can never go wrong with New Balance or Zappo’s!

I wonder why no tougue ! Will they last as long?

I love these! Very cushy but supportive. I've easing into more high impact workouts and running again- and these have been great for both. Tempted to get another, darker pair because the light grey does stain easily from grass.

True fit, and comfortable without needing to break in. The foot base was wider than I was used to, but the comfort and cushioning is worth the look of the wider footbed that I was used to. Even more comfortable than my last New Balance Beacons.

I have been a fan of NB shoes for years. I keep going back to the high end greasy foam. They are supper comfortable for everyday use. I’m not a runner but walk a lot. I have chronic knee pain and these help with impact pain. Not the most stylish shoe but they super comfortable

First off, I have bad feet --fused toes , nerve damage etc. I have another pair of NB and wanted to give these a try. They were not the most stylish esp in light gray. They felt fairly comfortable but no where near as good as the Hoka Bondi 7. I sent these back. But again, my feet are a special case!

The shoes are very comfortable! I have a low instep so these fit in that regard. Just hope the material holds up where the toes lift up as I walk. Could not find a pair with a toe guard!

I have 2 pairs of this style already I’ve worn for the past year. These seemed a little smaller in the toe box, pinching one of my pinky toes. Otherwise they are great. Love the color (like the pink/salmon colored ones better, but couldn’t get them). These are a size 8 medium (B)

I am a 5.5 and a narrow, but in most cases I can wear a medium width. In this case it was not so. This shoe felt like I had almost an inch nearly of space in the toe and lots of room on the sides of my foot. Cute shoe and very comfortable if they were not so wide.

After wearing the same New Balance runners for years, I decided to try this new Fresh Foam Vongo style. Although beautiful, it wasn't right for me. I had a hard time putting the shoe on. Unlacing doesn't loosen the opening of the shoe; there is no tongue, just a sock-like opening. Once on, the insole and my arch didn't line up quite right. I can see how some people would fall in love with the stretchy mesh and soft sole of this shoe. I wish this New Balance style would've worked because it LQQKED super cool. I appreciated Zappo's special trial period for running shoes, because I was able to wear them in a variety of situations before deciding I had to return them. I really wanted to love these shoes, but they just weren't sized quite right for my foot.

The fit was a little tight and there is not a regular tongue. This sneaker is like a slip on w additional laces. I am returning it due to it being too tight and the slip on style.

I wanted to love these sneakers since I wear New Balance running sneakers every day, but... something just is not right with the style. The "sock" part was too constricting around my foot. It's difficult for a sneaker to be uncomfortable, or less comfortable than a heeled sandal or shoe but these managed to do that. I was going to keep since I like the 1.75" heel but decided it wasn't worth it. I'll be a little uncomfortable to look good, but not for a sneaker. Also, the arch support was not that great for the price. These were sold as running sneakers but I can't imagine running in them. Overall, New Balance is my brand for running sneakers, and I run every morning, but something about the unusual sock design of these sneakers made them not comfortable.

I didn’t like that there was no tongue only am elastic opening. Too difficult to get on. The wide width was perfect and good support but couldn’t get them on!

I’m a severe over-pronator with wide feet. These shoes were surprisingly supportive—about 90% as supportive as my Brooks Ariels. This was a pleasant surprise. I was thrilled to be able to buy these in peach (because it’s hard to find WW Ariels in good colors). Some people complain about the inner sock in this shoe—don’t love it, but it is fine with socks that aren’t too thick. All in all, they are supportive, comfortable, and as attractive as athletic shoes can be. Would definitely recommend.

I wore New Balance Fresh Foam 1080s for several years and loved them, but the changes to 1080 v10 have me looking for a new model. I thought these might be a good replacement, but they are too tight (like the v10). Luckily, I bought all the 1080 v9 I could find while they were still available! Back to the drawing board.
