This running shoe is expensive but well worth the money. I do not even run. I like to walk and to do the treadmill. I have had plantar facitis in the past and also have feet with little fat/padding on the bottom of them. This shoe is comfortable and like walking on air. And so many widths to choose from!

I have bad feet and these shoes have been amazing! Recommended by my Dr. The plastic on the shoestrings fell apart quick but the actual shoe is wonderful!

Felt comfortable right out of the box. My right Achilles is tender following a small tear 3 years ago. It was sensitive to the height of the back of the shoe. I tried bending the raised back area multiple times with success. I just can't have it press the back of my Achilles and sometimes affects the positioning of my feet when sitting.

Not a runner by any means and average less than 4K steps per day because of work. These are my usual activities of daily living shoes and go on my feet at 0530 and are taken off at 2300. I was hesitant to go with the v3, especially after the bad luck I had with my last pair of v2's that lasted less than five months. Thus far, these are working just fine. The foot bed seems to be a little stiffer than the old v2, but my plantar fasciitis isn't bothering me like it used to and they are doing well when I have prolonged periods of standing in one spot.

Extremely comfortable sneaker for painful arthritic feet & Morton's neuroma. Sizing is true to size, wide toe box, sturdy sole (prefect for mid-foot arthritis) and great arch support. What I do not like, is that there's only two colors... well actually one because the other color is so dark & drab. New balance is the only company that offers a sneaker like this. I know because I have searched and searched the web. No other company has a roller bar with a great stability that this sneaker offers. Now give us older ladies some great colors to choose from and we'll buy more of them.

I love that they are made in the USA. I don't mind paying a little extra for better quality and domestic manufacturing.

Shoes fit my quad A heel perfectly and there's plenty of room in the toe bed to accommodate my bunion. Great support! I average 5 miles a day walking and have finally found a pair of running shoes that keep my feet from slipping forward.

My Dr. recommended these shoes for me to wear these shoes for daily walking. The roll bar really helps me so that i can walk properly and not turn my feet inward! I would really like to see more color options for the Ladies 1540v3. Maybe something with grey/red would be a fun color choice!

I usually wear a 10.5 2E, but when I was ordering this shoe, the Zappos recommended size for me was 4E, so I thought this shoe ran a bit narrow. However, the 4E was too wide for me and the 2E fit. This shoe is pretty wide for someone who needs that! (FYI: The tongue is low in this New Balance style. On the 2E, the laces rubbed against my socks instead of the tongue, so I returned the 2E for that reason.)

The NB sneakers I Bought are comfortable from day one. I have very high arches along with wide feet and have trouble finding shoes that fit and are comfortable. These sneakers solve both of my problems.
