Run 3 miles a day. The 1540v2 was perfect for me no problems since the design of the 1540years ago. The 1540v3 is not the same shoe. I now have knee, Achilles and big toe problems. I hope to find the right shoe after the 1540v2 was changed and discontinued and hope to get a refund for the 1540v3.

Not sure what is causing the problem, I've had many pairs of US made NB shoes in the past and never had any issues. I use these on a treadmill and cross-trainer and my toes have taken a beating and they cut into the top of my big toe. Will try different socks.

They didn't last me a month of light use before they started to warp and fall apart. Holes formed over my big toes and the shoes started to separate at the seams. I only wore them on the weekends for casual walking.

This is the second pair of New Balance that I have purchased. The first pair so comfortable. The new pair I received last week are awful! Like walking on a piece of plywood. For $175, I would not recommend.

I am a big fan of New Balance shoes and have owned them for years. However, these shoes actually cut the top of my left foot till they actually bled the first time I wore them. The right foot was fine, so it leads me to believe there was something wrong with the construction of the left shoe. I sent them back for return and I will order a new pair.

I received worn shoes! There is debris embedded in the treads and the toes are bent. We have spent thousands on Zappos and never had an issue. Additionally, I received the color too.

I was wearing this show when it was the model 587. At the time I was getting 3 months from the show jogging doing 50-80 miles per month. Then I turned the show into a walking shoe - just to and from the car. Now due to back problems my jogging has become walking for exercise. I'm getting 1.5s months from the show walking 25-30 mile per month. Simply not worth the cost. This is my 2nd 15490v3 with the same experience. Makes me wonder if any QA is done on the products. I will not purchase this shoe again

I have been waring New Balance shoes for many years without problems. The previous version 1540v2 are ver yconfortable to ware. The new version 1540v3 are not. The sole of the shoe is to rigid and does not bend with my feet. Furthermore, the tongue of the shoe is too short allowing the shoe laces to rub against the top of the feet.

I have to return $ 200 worth of goods, because New Balance won't help me get the correct size laces for my shoes!! I have asked very nicely, the laces on the shoes are too short, but I returned the shoes because I did not hear from customer service. I purchased the same shoes, and again the laces are too short, I have no idea why they put shorter pairs of laces in the shoes? I have seven pairs of their shoes, and three of them were purchased this year. I asked for help, and it must be a computer that is responding to my requests.I'm home, and after four weeks with the coronavirus, I'm not going to deal with a company that won't read my request, I thought that they didn't want to help me, but it's apparent to me no one is reading my request, and it's an automatic reply The funny things I have no idea what length to order, that's been my request from day one, help me solve the problem

If you average 8 miles a day for 60 days what you get is very expensive junk that falls apart. Have bought 900 series in the past that did have value but this shoe is trash. The cost of this shoe compared to value is horrible. Holes in both tops of the shoes in no time. Advertised on the website "Proof that quality exists" don't believe that at all, totally fake advertising. Contacted New Balance got nothing from them but a form letter email in return

I hate to say it, but I had to return the product. After my second day walking in them I discovered a bad spot on the inside arch that was causing a blister. I sent them back and am waiting for my refund. I did order another pair that will be delivered this Thursday. Hope they don't have the same defect. I have a pair at my winter home that I love. Buy American.

I was trying to buy a replacement for the 1540BK2, which had a toe box that was slightly too small, but serviceable. The 1540v3 was enough smaller in the toes that it ruined a new pair of socks in one five-mile walk, eating holes where my toes rubbed the top. I have hammertoe, so a regular toe box won't work, but I had been making do with the 154BK2, having to replace my socks after 20-25 uses. The v3 would cost me more in socks than I paid for the shoes.

I was looking for a shoe to replace the 1260s that I have worn for 10+ years. Went to the local NB store, they didn't have a clue. After online research, I thought the 1540 would come the closest for a replacement. The 1540 didn't have the same fit or feel so I returned them and went with another brand.

Great support for the foot when brand new but within 2 months of everyday use support is severely diminished. This shoe is not worth the high purchase price because of the quick loss of support.

This is my first disappointment with New Balance. The sizing was supposed to be the same as the pair I was replacing. But it was so much larger I had to return them.
