First, I want to praise Zappos free shipping both ways, how fast and great the free shipping was. I had to return the first pair, as the liner was cut wrong and hurt my foot, but I only had to wait a day longer, and a new pair was at my door. I have not had a problem with this pair, and wore them out a few times, they are comfortable, and warm. I love Birkenstock, not my first pair and not my last. Thank you Zappos for your excellent service.

I own over 15 pairs of Birkis--these are the best! True to size, very comfortable. I will wear them quite a bit this fall. The shearling fleece is incredible.

I love the shearling idea, very soft. I haven't worn them yet, only tried on, but feel great on. I hope the shearling holds up well, if it does, it's a 5 star product.

Okay, these are by far my favorite pair of shoes I own. I have hard to fit, wide feet and these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. The shearling makes all the difference. I wore them a lot with socks during the winter (much to my daughter's horror). They are warm with or without socks. Even with summer just around the corner, I still wear them quite a bit around the house. Once they "form" to your foot, they are amazing. Highly recommended!

These look so cute in the ad, but I am a size 10 and they make me look like the Abominable Snowoman! Rats, have to return.

These are divine - make me happy every time i slide my cold feet in - ahhhhh warm soft and comfy a hug for your feet and Zappos of course gets them to you lightening fast!

Like almost all the pairs of Birkenstocks I already own, these do not disappoint. I find that they need to be worn tighter than the others because the shearling covers the toe bar so you tend to slide forward a little more. This is eliminated by wearing with socks. The shearling on the footbed does compress quite quickly but this does not detract from the overall look. Perfect for the cooler Florida mornings (without socks!).

As along time Arizona wearer, I ordered these as soon as I saw them and, in true Zappos fashion, they arrived quick as a wink. At first I thought there might be a couple of issues. First of all, I thought it was a dumb idea: who needs a shearling lined sandal? Your heels and toes are still exposed and even if you wear them with socks, it's really the toes that get coldest fastest! Secondly, I found my foot slipping forward no matter how tight I made the straps. So, sadly, I planned to send them back via Zappos' hassle-free return policy. The next day, on further reflection, I revised my thinking: I love Arizonas; they're the only shoes I'm comfortable in, no matter how long I wear them or how far I walk. I'm not looking forward to the winter since I'll have to wear them with socks. Well, since I'm going to wear them in the winter anyway, with socks, why not see how these shearing-lined ones feel with socks. Voila! They feel pretty good so, even though toes and heels will still be exposed (only sock covered), I should still be ahead of the game, right?

I wanted so much for these to work, I have one long toe on my left foot that would not fit inside the ridge at the front of the shoe. Returning, sorry,

I’ve purchased at least 12 Birkenstocks but this one is too short . Really sad to return it. Found Kyoto shearling on Birkenstock site but you don’t carry it.

I am usually 8.5 and ordered 9.5 and these fit perfectly. They are super comfortable and really cute. They are overpriced for the quality and I can see that the shearling is not well fit to the shoe in certain places and probably will look worn out quickly. I’m keeping them against my better judgement !

Ordered these in green & really thought they were comfortable & really great looking sandal, but my feet slid forward too much when I walked. Sadly returned. Zappos has such wonderful customer service!

These were really cute and fit perfect, but there was something sharp poking into my left foot on the inside arch. Could not figure out what it was so I am returning them.

I noticed in the first pair I had to tighten the straps to the first hole and the shoes looked silly with all that strap hanging out. Even though they didn’t feel too wide I decided to order the Nero and that solved the problem. I do not ever wear narrow shoes but these worked. If you tend toward narrow, you might try the narrow first.

Love, love ! Either without socks or with . I wear out or in all the time. The straps seemed to loosen (stretch) a bit so just tighten if you can . Only reason I didn't give a 5 star is the sheepskin flattens rather quickly.

size was true to what I usually wear

I have been wearing Birkenstocks since I was in junior high school, back in the early 70s, and have probably tried every style. This was a splurge and something I'd been considering purchasing for years. I'm generally pleased with them, though didn't score them highest in any category. Comfort is adequate, though I wish the soles were softer (I have gotten used to the soft footbed); style is adequate, though the shearling sticks out at weird angles from the straps (guess I could trim it), so overall they are good but not excellent. I typically wear a 39 and also take a 39 in these; they are slightly tight but I suspect they will loosen up very quickly. Hoping they work to keep my feet warm but not overly hot in winter.

I am glad that I can adjust them because they are a little too big , but was afraid to go a size down.

My feet are so happy in these shearling birks. I am going to look for them in another color. They look pretty cute with socks also!!

I love that the newer Birkenstock shearling seems much better than the first generation...fuller, thicker, less of the issues from bad joinery to the shoe base (no plastic exposed or stitches). I bought the Night Shearling right away...then bought the Mink version...but sadly returned...as the color seemed off...was very pale compared to what I thought Mink should be...perhaps a fade issue? I may try ordering again...as the shearling Arizona a good house shoe...or outside with a sock for colder, tho not true winter, days I would love to buy the pale grey version...but sadly only offered in Narrow width...which, contrary to what they say, is not really a Medium....but truly Narrow...which would never work with the added shearling taking up width too! Please carry more Regular widths...and ask Birkenstock for them!!!!

These shoes are awesome. Like all other Birkenstocks they are true to size. I treat these shoes like house shoes and wear them all winter. I loved them so much I ordered a 2nd pair from Zappos as a gift for someone. Couldn't recommend more. Awesome shoes.

Super cute. Had to purchase the narrow because the regular width was way too loose on my foot. Of course returns/exchanges with Zappos is always so easy!!! I bought these to wear as house shoes, and will not be wearing them outside. I suspect the white shearling would get pretty dirty eventually if worn out in the world.

I have wide feet and normally wear a 39 regular in Birkenstocks but had to size up to a 40 in these. They still feel slightly more narrow than the non fleece lined ones but I think they will be fine once they mold to my feet more. Cute and comfy! Perfect for a southern California winter!!
