Really wanted to love these! The price and style were great. However, after taking them for a few runs, I developed a severe pain in the ball of my foot, likely from squished toes. Typically Asics offer a generous toe box so it's not a problem, but these definitely did not. Was certainly bummed, but I would encourage people trying Asics with this pair only to continue to explore the brand. I don't think this style is the typical fit of an Asics running shoe!

I have really narrow feet and even these are too narrow and tight. I think it's more about the length of the shoe than the narrow/toe box.

I bought this and another pair of Asics for comparison and am glad I did so. These were not comfortable for some reason. The collar around the ankle hit the bottom edge of my ankle bone. I returned this pair and kept the other Asics pair in which the collar wasn't so high in that particular spot. It would probably be okay on someone else. On another note, this is my 3rd pair of Asics and I love this brand. I like their style and support, and Asics offers enough variety to find a perfect fit.

The shoes felt narrow and didn't have enough cushion for my liking. I did not think they felt comfortable.

I ordered this shoe in a 7 and it was to narrow and too small. I exchanged for a 7.5 and it was too big. These shoes are very narrow. Something funny here. Returned will not buy this brand.

Had to return because Asics D width is narrower than it used to be (I took measurements, inside & out), maybe 10 years ago. Otherwise, the shoes are OK/fine. Toe box not deep enough for orthotics.

I have plantar fasciitis, so I was looking for extra support. Unfortunately, it was not enough, and the shoe run small. Even with my inserts, it was not enough. I am an 8.5, and ordered a 9 as I usually do, but my toe was rubbing the front. The look was nice. I returned them.

Run very small. I have always worn 9.5 in ASICS. Needed at least a 10.

Not too happy with product as I actually wore the shoes to try them out and break in to them, but still not very comfortable.

I bought 2 pair of the same size thinking the first pair was sized incorrectly, but Asic has changed and I can no longer wear them. Seemed overly long and narrow and I felt like I was tripping over the shoes. Back to Brooks and once again, a big thank you to Zappos!! Excellent customer service.

Sadly Asics has changed the GT-1000 to fit narrower feet. Sadly it doesn't me anymore. Significantly narrower than the previous version I was wearing.

These shoes fit great for length and seemed really comfortable but the toe box was too tight. I tried thinner socks and my toes still went numb after 30 minutes of wear time.

These shoes offer little to no cushion support in the footbed. I am a midfoot striker when I run (to avoid shin splints with a heel strike) and I could feel the groove in the bottom of the shoe on every step. These aren’t even good enough to keep as knock-around errands-running sneakers. Am returning, do not recommend!

Poor quality. After light exercise (walking!) the top of shoe began tearing away. The material that covers the top of the foot is too thin and tears easily.

This was my fourth pair of Asics running shoes and I have always found them to be a good overall fit, comfortable, and affordable. This time there was a significant issue with the design at the heel that created painful wounds after my first real journey out. Previous models had a slight indentation at the top of the heel where it meets the achilles tendon, for ease of movement. This pair has the edge of the heel, a hard plastic material, going straight edged into the back of the tendon. The design has retained the illusion of the indentation, with it's colors and sewing, however the stiff heel construction has no indentation. I really hope this was just an error in manufacturing and not a change in the design.

Ugh so disappointed. I've been wearing GT-1000s since I took up running 7-8 years ago. I knew when I took the shoes out of the box they seemed narrow but I thought they would stretch. After about 6 runs/walks in these shoes, they must go back. After my last short run my toes were almost numb. I had already switched from my normal socks to the thinnest pair I own. Some more research shows other complaining about the narrow toe box recently in this model. Looks like i need to go back at least 2 versions to find the old fit. Fingers crossed I can find them since the stay-at-home doesn't make it easy to go out and try new styles. Love the color though.

I love Asics - have been wearing them for years. This shoe was painful.
