Very good running shoe, however I've only had them for just under 4 weeks and the material at the side has ripped. I feel the breathable material is rather poor quality.

Gel feels amazing, but sizes come up small compared to Kayano 25. Had to return as toe was pushing through the end, no way I could run long distance in them.

I used to only buy this model. They don't make narrow any more, so I thought I would give the regular width a try. Way to wide! Too bad!

The forefront of this shoe has so little cushioning that it feels like you are running on cardboard, and the heel has minimal cushioning. This is not for a cushioned run. They are also slightly shorter than other ASICS I've owned of the same size.

I've worn Gel-Kayano's for 20 + years, the change in the design of this shoe affected the fit significantly. I dislike the wider toe box. If I have the laces tight enough to make the shoe not slip, the top of my foot aches. Also, the material on the inside makes it difficult to slip on without having my socks bunch up. I love the 23's and 24's.did you bring back the old design for the 27's?

I was disappointed in this shoe. I have been wearing Asics a couple of decades, this shoe feels like a Nike it is way too soft.

Returned. I have 2 wide 9's(which I normally wear), however they are too wide. I purchased 9 regular and too narrow. Have had only gel kayano for last several years and the 26's are just a bust.

I love the way the shoe looks and I have always loved the Asics brand but this pair is not a comfortable shoe. The footned is hard and my feet hurt after wearing them all day. I will try a different style of Asics.

I was buying ASICS trainers (black cumulus) every year. A new number each year, although the last pair (16) have lasted me 5yrs!!! The design of the cumulus now looks cheap. I've also had in the past some Gel Kinsei. I chose the style I have just purchased because it was PLAIN black and it looked the best design but I am very disappointed in the quality and style to what, in the past, I have always been very happy with. I'm also convinced these trainers will not last as long as my last pair. You have cut back on costs. They look cheap and not of as good quality. I think these will be the last ASICS trainers I will purchase. What a shame. Very happy to pay a premium price for quality. These are not. Lastly, not really that comfortable either but buying online means hassle to return.

I had ordered a pair of these two weeks earlier in a different colour and they were an absolutely perfect fit - the best fit trainer I have ever had! So I ordered another pair, exactly the same size, different colour, and they were completely different in fit, too small in both width and length. Was very disappointed.

This is my 4th pair of Asics running shoes but the sizing seems to have changed? Bought uk size 5 (same as my last pair) but they are noticeably bigger, too big and have had to return.

Sizes are smaller than UK sizing. Very disappointed when they arrived. Hopefully I will receive my refund soon.

Trainers were comfy i had to return them as they were too small. Im now waiting for my refund.

Initially, I loved the way the shoes fit both length and width. I have been wearing them 5 days a week to walk 3-4 miles then take them off and the sole where the ball of my foot is has way to much worn away for 3 weeks! That is way to fast for the $ I paid!

The shoe didn't provide enough Arch support. It also felt like a wide fit.

I thought the trainers would be more comfortable to run with for this price. I expected more cushions or gel I guess.

Coulouts looked very faded, nothing like on the picture. Material seems very cheap and not worth the money!!!

Having read reviews, this shoe seemed to be perfect for flat feet, over pronation and most of all shin splits - which was my main concern. However, I've just been out running this morning with high hopes of being able to run pain free again and I'm disappointed. Suffering most with really bad shin splints has continued to put a pause on my passion for fitness and thought these shoes would've helped to resolve this problem. The shoe does look great and is comfy to walk in but is defeating the purpose. I also agree on many other reviews that these shoes are small fitting! I'm a 5.5, on average a 6 and bought these in a 6.5 which fit fine so i would definitely size up.

I am so disappointed that Asics no longer makes narrow widths. And now the Gel Kayano 26 is even wider than the 25. I've worn Gel Kayanos for many, many years but the combination of lack of availability of narrow width and recent design changes may make me look elsewhere. We'll see what they've done to the Gel Kayano 27 coming out in a few weeks. I hate that they change so much between models so as to become unwearable and then back.

Have worn ASICS Gel Kayano for years and this is a big MISS by ASICS. The upper material is too loose so much so that your foot doesn't feel supported - it allows for too much movement in the runner. I feel like I should drop a size but then that would be wrong in the length. The quality just isn't there

i am not happy with how the color is . What the picture looks like compared to what they look like is way off! I am not happy with them at all as far as the looks. I would of returned but didn't want to deal with it so I just wear them inside
