They run a little small/tight. I could have sized up a half size.

I ran for the first time in these Kayanos, the fit seemed comfortable and supportive. (I use custom orthotics, so I have to consider that when reviewing shoes.) So far so good. I was less than "wowed" by the underlining; it seemed so much lighter than in the photos, hence the 4 stars. I much preferred the construction in the models thru 23, after that I had to go up a half-size, and they look so "BIG"- size 10. I think the stitched model held up longer than the "glued" version. But, they are still my go-to runners.

Exactly what I needed. As a nurse, these shoes provide the cushion I need from the ball of my feet to my heels. Only draw back is I had to order a half size larger than usual.

Comfortable and great support. I will buy it again.

I wear a 6M in regular shoes, but after getting fitted at a local running store, I always go up a half size in Asics Gel-Kayano to give my toes some wiggle room and avoid black and blue toes. This formula has worked out perfectly for the past 6 years. Love the style and the selection of colors, so I ordered two pairs. Midnight/Frosted Almond is nice, but Metropolitan/Rose Gold color was off - was more gray and lighter compared to photos online. Also, K26 runs (slightly) shorter than the K25 in the toe area. I went to a local store to try on a pair of 7M, but they were too big. The heels of my feet kept slipping out. I was really bummed out. Wished the 6.5M was just a smidgen longer. Unfortunately, as much as I love the style, I had to return them :-(

A little tight in the toe box but overall a good running shoe with support. Fits true to size.

Laces are extremely long and too stretchy. Other than that, great shoe.

Gel-Kayano 26--Very comfortable. These sneakers never disppoint!

I hate them! My toes hit the front top. Always a size 8 in ASICS. They are so uncomfortable when I run.

Comfortable, but run small. I'm typically a 9.5 in ASICS, but my toes were hitting the front of the 9.5, so a 10 would've been better. I decided to return them.

Only been on 2 hikes with these so far and they are very comfortable at first, but I have wide feet and they feel a little tight after a long wear, but hoping they'll break in after a few more hikes!

These are my go-to walking shoes. Bought at least 8 pair over the years. I always wore size 11, which is bad enough, but when I ordered my new 11s, they were visibly shorter than my previous ones. I had to return them and get 11.5s. If this trend persists I'm in trouble...

True size 6, 6 was TOO tight, 6.5 seemed just OK. 6.5 might be a tad bit loose, but my foot was in pain just standing in the 6. 6.5 feels great when running. I have an ankle issue that I don't feel when running in these sneakers. However, if I am just sitting around in them I notice my toes start to tingle slightly.

Love them! Super comfortable for running! The only thing I would say is that my feet start to ache a bit after 1.5+ hours of walking. Maybe that's normal for all shoes, I'm not sure. I also have flat feet so that could be the issue to. Aside from that, they are theeeee best!

Offer more color options other than black and grays for men.

The darker "blueish" color around ankle and at tip of toe doesn't look this way in person. Much more of a grey.

i love the shoes, i love the color, the style, and the comfort. i was told by my foot dr to order asics to help with my planter fasciitis the only issue i ordered them online and didn't get to try them on and they don't have enough arch to help with the pain in my left foot. but i love them!

Love the color, just bright enough to not be boring. Glad I read other reviews and ordered 1/2 size up. Thicker socks fit ok, so lighter weight socks in summer should also work fine to give foot a teensy bit more room to breathe.

Love these shoes- Asics Gel Kayano. Have included the shoe in my running equipment for years. Love the newer models-they are lighter and more responsive. My one issue with the newer models- the sole wears so quickly. After a few runs, I am seeing very obvious wear (almost like chipping off) of the sole. If this is fixed- this shoe would be a five star for me!

It provides great support! I have flat feet and needed more support in my day to day activities and this was it! I'm only listing four stars because the shoe feels a bit heavy when I run.

Extremely comfortable! I think this may be my favorite sneaker I have ever owned. One negative is that I notice a few small tears already forming on the black lining that surrounds the ankle, and I have only worn them for two weeks.

I love the fit on these Kayano 26 they feel great while running I also love the color scheme .Great running sneaker

I have been an avid Asics customer for 40 years and recently purchased Asics running shoe that was too tight. I thought possibly my foot was getting wider in my older age. My next purchase, I tried the a wide version in Asics running shoe. Shoes are definitely wide; too wide for my foot for serious distance running. I will return to standard width Asics next purchase.
