I have worn Gel Kayano for 15 years and loved them. The GK 26 I returned. Cheaply made !!!!!!

I have been wearing Kayano for years (since 13) and love them. I am disappointed with the fit of the 26s. I feel like there is not the same cushioning at the ball of the foot and by the toe. And they don't feel as stable. The 24s were good, had 3 pairs of them. I just purchased 2 pairs of the 25s (which are ok but not the same as past models :( ) because I cannot wear the 26s.

I bought the Gel Kayano 26 hoping that it would redeem my faith after no longer being able to find the Gel Kayano 22 in my size. That was the last model that actually worked for me, after all of their redesigns. I have no idea who they are designing these shoes for, but they aren't for someone with flat feet as they advertise. Just like the last 3 models, they are painful to wear after just 30 minutes. You can keep your memory foam, it smashes down with weight and feels like you're walking on rocks. Sadly, I'm throwing these in the trash and moving on to shoes that are actually designed for my feet and not made out of catchy named foam that is useless once weight is applied. So long my dear friend, you served me well for a while, but no longer.

I have brought ASICS kayanp for the last maybe 13 years...I have always liked them. This new version is smaller in width and length and are really hard. My feet hurt a lot!!! I am not buying the again...for now I am in so much pain...I need to buy another brand...so sad...

This is my first pair of Asics, after my go-to brand changed models. I think this shoe does a great job with motion control, but there is very little shock absorption. My heels are very sore after a week of running in these--the first 4 runs were great, but now they just feel like I am running on wood planks. Not a lot of rebound with each step and my legs are very tired after running. Due to the fact I wake up with sore, aching feet the past few mornings I plan on returning these to the running store that fit me. I've now read a lot of the poor reviews and see lack of cushioning is a general theme.

Do not like this shoe. can't run in them, toes fall asleep and foot hurts. There's a line on the bottom down the middle of the shoe and I can feel it when I run. It does not feel good it feels like there's not enough support so that this line is hurting and annoying my foot. It leads to my toes falling asleep, while i'm running! They need to take this line out of the bottom of the shoe and add more plushness.

Gel-Kayano 26 is a shoe to avoid. I have always purchased asics gel kayano from authorized dealers. These shoes started hurting my feet immediately. I thought, OK I just need to break them in. I am limping after wearing them 2 days and after 5 days of wearing them my tendinitis that usually goes away with new asics is flared up terribly. They also are smaller than the Asics gel kayano 24 and my toe hits the tip of the shoe. I think they need to go back to the 24s and stick with that model. I do however, love the style and color but performance-something isn't right. Going to have to send them back.

This is the third pair I've tried in the last year. I'm not sure why there's been a change, but this is THE most uncomfortable shoe I've ever worn. Feels like I'm standing in cement BEFORE I completed a mile. Didn't make me want to go for a run. And, right out of the box, they had a very strong chemical smell. Like toxic plastic smell.

Great running shoes.. but the colors are disgusting! I mean clearly whoever designed this has no taste or sense of fashion. If you want this to sell, make them look amazingly interesting! I've been buying Asics at least 2 every year.. I Love the kayanos, 180's, and the nimbus collection. We buy all this gorgeous gym outfits to empower and motivate us, might as well wear a pair of shoes to match! Come on, Asics!

These shoes are amazing... I have a bad hip and back and they help support so much... My mom also wears these shoes and other asics for many years being a nurse and on her feet all day long standing and walking.. They have great support for your feet and provide excellent relief for your back and hops and legs and feet!!!!! Keep making them!

Too big of a toe box if you have normal feet. A little short in the heel area as well so support is not great.

I only wear Kayanos the colors have been so bad for so long ! You went through a neon stage way too long and now the guys colors are exactly what the women want ! I would and have bought the men's shoes but tow box looks too masculine. please get it together !!

I love love love gel-kayanos and have bought them for my entire family for many years. The new color choices are terrible!!! Please release new color choices immediately. I was so excited to try the 26's however not in these colors. I'm so sad.

Have always worn the same size but in the 26 in my usual size, my toes bump right up against the end. Going up a half size made the shoe feel floppy on my foot and I had pain for several days after a run in them. The cushioning is much less as well. A super disappointing update and a lost customer.

I've worn the Kayanos for several years. I have wide feet and they've been the most comfortable, sensible footwear choice for running, with every single update Asics has created. I've run half marathons in these shoes. This model, however, is different. I had to order up a full shoe size to get any room in the toe box, but now the heel slips. Way too much padding on the back near the heal has my foot sitting way to close to the toebox in the size I'm supposed to wear. To think I was actually excited Asics FINALLLLLY designed a pair of shoes for wide-feet people that are actually a good color way, but the functionality of these was sacrificed. BIG FAIL.

Just received and wore on a long walk. My toes kept on hitting the inside front of the shoe. This shoe is 1 inch shorter than my GT 2000 7 and my Gel-Kayano 25. What happened? Buyer Beware!

I love kayanos. I've been wearing them ever since 14's came out. they are super comfortable and have great support. I buy 2 a year and look forward to getting my new ASICS. But ASICS, really??? These are the best color combos you can come up with???? Kinda disappointed ......
