I have worn and loved the Kayano for many years. It is my "go to" shoe. For some reason, however, this particular pair ran a bit small and I had to return (hence the 4 star recommendation).

I'm 5'8", 260lbs and a new trail runner. I like the support around the ankles, the balance and shock absorption that this shoe provides. I'm a true size 10 and I find these shoes to be a good fit. I'm a little disappointed with the color as it isn't as photographed however it's still a nice shoe.

Like the shoes a lot, very light and comfortable. They do seem to run about a 1/2 size small, at least for me. I had to replace the foot pad with a thinner one, but I like it better so it was fine. I use them for power walking and are very supportive.

Comfy shoe. No need for extra inserts to help my plantar fasciitis issue. Used mainly for daily walking exercise (3-8miles sidewalk/any surface in my neighborhood). Highly recommended.

I have knee injury and the support is great. It could be a tight fit for wider feet. I have narrow feet and it is still snug. I guess adjusting the lace would help.

These shoes are very supportive and comfortable. My only complaint is that they are inconsistent in size. I bought two pair and they fit completely differently. I had to return one.

I tend to run on a lot of asphalt in florida, so my feet naturally get warm but ever since switching to gel, my feet get almost uncomfortably hot. So be warned. I therefore run in the mornings which helps. Otherwise these shoes really provide the support you're looking for, especially if you're sensitive to shin splints.

I am not a runner, bu I wanted a good pair of shoes to walk/run. After reviewing different shoes, I took the risk of buying these shoes without ever trying them on or owning any Asics. I am glad they have turned out to be good. I would't say they are light but they work for me and feel like a great quality shoe.

Love the shoe. Only complaint is that they run a little wide.

Very supportive shoes however the back of the shoe seems to be a little low for my preference. But I'm able to run in them without issue.

I've only been on one run so I can't give it a full 5 but I believe it will be once they are broken in. I was a Nimbus fan but the toe box got too small and was causing me to have really sore feet while running. It honestly made me hate my runs. I'm proud to say I got this shoe and man it solved my problems. I am still adjusting a little to it, but my feet weren't sore after my run and I felt like I could go further. Can't wait to run may half and full marathons in these one day!

I have been wearing these shoes for a month and I have to say they have grown on me- took about 2 days but I love them. Very comfortable and I walk 5-7miles every day and more on the weekends. So far they are holding up, but I have only been wearing them a week. My past pair of sneaks were from brooks and they were done in 6months so fingers-crossed these last longer. Right now I rate them a 4 bc I have only had them a month and I am not sure of durability long term, but regarding comfort and support their awesome!

Love the color, but feels a bit less supportive than previous Kayanos I've had.

Lots of cushion in the front of the shoe. I bought these shoes about a month ago and the front part of the sole is already showing substantial wear. I run/walk about 16 -20 miles per week. I will but these again because of the support, but I wish they would hold out a little longer.

Great shoe with lots of support especially since I have flat feet and serious back issues. I was disappointed that for the price and quality of these shoes that the laces are flat and hard to grip -- I prefer a chunkier lace that the basic and cheap Asics shoes have.

The shoe has a great design and fits comfortably and is true to size. I love that it is soft and stable with a nice breathable fabric. My foot feels well supported and secure while running. Asics are my #1 choice running shoe.

Shoe is cute and comfortable. I have gotten compliments when wearing them. It is not a hard shoe in terms of support, but I do wear it for walking and when I need a cute comfy shoe!

The inside heel material wears quickly and the shoes laces are too short

This shoe is getting narrower- I've worn it for years. I started out wearing a regular width, and for the last few years have had to wear a wide width. Now the wide width seems snug - you need to widen the toe box or I will switch brands.

I have owned numerous Gel-Kayano's and this pair is just okay. The left front around the joint is tight.

Fit And support is good little tight in the mid section

Comfy, nice support but they run small. I wish I would have ordered a larger size.

nice shoe, would be great except for the tongue keeps sliding down

Shoes are comfortable they go with most clothes be careful you don't get them dirty hard to keep clean

Good support. Just wish they were a bit roomier in the toe area.
