I went up to an 8.5 from an 8, and that worked out well for me. I have narrow feet, and this sneaker fit them like a glove. I put them on out of the box, and wore them all day without any problem. So comfortable. And much more padded than the Keds I was buying. Love the red color!

The fit is nice and snug in a sturdy way-like the arch support since I have a high arch. A little stiff getting the shoe on where the laces are, but once on, plenty of wiggle room. I am normally a 7-1/2 to 8 and I sized up to a size 8-1/2 based on the other reviews. Unfortunately it was too big. So my thought is if you are in-between sizes just size up as normal. Will return and get the size 8

I was so excited to get these, but I put them on for 5 minutes and packed them back in the box to return. Why? First of all, this is a heavy, heavy shoe, not exactly what I'm looking for to kick around in this summer. I can only imagine how hot my feet would get. And, no matter how loose I made the laces, they really seemed to irritate my cuneiform. Mine is pretty high, and it's one of the tells on whether I can tolerate a pair of shoes. Just didn't work for me.

Great sneakers! Good support for high arches and very comfortable. Also very cute shoes. I took the reviews advice and ordered a size 8 1/2 instead of my usual 8 and fit perfect!!

I love love these shoes. Everything about them is perfect - arch support, width, length, style - the holy grail of casual sneaks. Seem to run about half a size short (I’m 8 1/2 & got a 9), but it’s def prob doable to say tts. Super comfy and cute

Like many people advised, I went ½ size up and that was perfect.

The laces allow me to adjust for average width, narrow heel feet even though the heel has standard room. The insoles feel very supportive of my average arches. They would probably dig into a flat foot. The shoe overall feels supportive and well-constructed. It only took one day for me to break in the shoes without bandaids or blisters. Style is on trend.

I read reviews and have also bought these for my daughter and I thought the shoes ran small. I ordered a 9.5 because I normally wear a 8.5 or 9. It was WAY too big. So I ordered a 9 and they were also quite large on me so I’m hoping the 8.5 will fit great. The shoes are SUPER cute and I can’t wait to wear then with capris for a casual and comfortable look this summer.

Adorable shoe. Slightly wide in the toe but a perfect canvas sneaker otherwise

Ordered because they were cute for summer and although I usually wear wides, these were fine and had great arch support for a flat shoe and enough toe room for my toe insert for a crossing toe. I had major foot surgery a year ago and was pleasantly surprised that I could wear something in fashion!

I have been searching for a shoe with a wide toe toe that would not interfere with bone spurs and multiple surgeries on baby toes of my feet, these are almost perfect. My one complaint is that they slip on heel. Which I think can be easily overcome. I am planning on buying more colors, since it’s nice to have something besides running shoes to wear.

This is my third pair of Taos and I love the support and style. Casual yet comfortable, and they hold up very well. My first pair is going on 3 yrs old and still looks new. The support is subtle, and they're great to wear right out of the box. I'm a fan!

I'm a definite 11 and this shoe was way too small. Bummed-so cute. The color is rich and overall quality and look of the shoe is excellent. Just too darn small. If it had fit I think it would have been very comfy; nicely cushioned.

These are so cute! I love the contrasting stitching. The arch support is an unexpected surprise in a canvas sneaker. I am normally a true 7.5 with a slightly wide foot. Ordered the 8 based on other reviews and I think they'll be great. Plenty of room in the toe area. I haven't worn these much yet to comment on long term comfort, but so far so good.

Taos is the first and only brand I have ever purposely sought out. This is my second pair, since owning the Taos Stars. I am normally an opportunistic shopper, sticking almost exclusively to well-reviewed products on sale. These are so comfortable, well made, and nice looking that I am hooked.

I love these shoes but one of my feet is so jeffed up that I can't wear any shoe but a crock

Super cute -I preferred the style over the Josef Seibel Caren which I decided to keep. The JS Caren are leather and will be much easier to keep clean and are more comfortable but the canvas Taos Star Burst are more fashionable with the leather accent, slim style and metal shoelace eyelets.

I like these shoes and will keep them. They feel a little stiff but that may be because of the firm insole, which I hope will begin to flex as it learns to fit my arch. The only other issue is that my heel slips as I walk - I almost always have to put in a heel liner and had to do that with these.

I really wanted to like this shoe. It's stylish and has great arch support. My first problem was the size: I usually wear a size 7, but I was somewhere between a 7.5 and an 8 on this. A 7.5W would have probably been perfect, but unfortunately it doesn't come in wide. The second problem is that there's not a lot of cushioning, which is something I need in a shoe. I considered for a while but finally returned it.

Amazing arch support!!! I decided I liked the style of the superga better but these are very cute and incredibly comfy! I have high arches and the support in these is phenomenal

I ordered a half size up as suggested and the fit was perfect. Comfortable right out of the box. I have three different colors of the Star and Star Burst. Cute shoe.

I liked these shoes, and if closet space were not an issue I might have kept them. But they're so similar to the Ecco sneakers I also ordered, and which I'm keeping (except that instead of nubuck leather the Taos shoes are canvas) that I couldn't quite justify hanging on to them too. They're basically a slightly less polished version of the Ecco Soft 7 shoes I'm keeping--even the color's very similar. Overall I thought they were pretty good.

i havent decided whether to keep or not. First, they are super cute, can see for capris, leggings, etc. I got the beige star 7.5,fit was good. However... this shoe (to have cost quite a bit) is just not soft and comfortable. The canvas is stiff and I'm just wondering how they would be to wear for any length of time,like just a couple of hours. The arch is high with hard cushioning which I think I could get used to that. I'm going to look at them sitting in their box on the couch for another day bf I decide to keep. I was so hopeful for a comfortable summer sneaker other than my Brooks to wear with shorts etc.

Full size too short and foot bed not really comfortable for me.
