I loved the style of this shoe and also the deep red color. The main flaw is the insole. While giving excellent support to my arch, the entire footbed is very hard. I need cushion and comfort, and these were a huge disappointment. They will be returned.

This shoe runs small. I had to go up to a size 9.

My heel slipped when walking so I had to return these. If you have a narrow heel choose something else. Zappos was wonderful with my exchange and return.

The fit was good, they looked great but they rubbed on the outside of my toe area. If you don't have sensitive feet, these are comfortable for cute, flat type sneakers.

I think these shoes are cute and wanted to keep them, but the arch was entirely too high for me and would have been uncomfortable within a short time if I tried to wear them.

Tried both 8W and 8.5W and both were very narrow, Unfortunate because I liked the style. Sandals are the only Taos footwear I have found that are very comfortable.

These are exactly what I wanted EXCEPT that the insole in both shoes is for a left shoe. Since Taos shoes have a good arch, it’s impossible to wear these with the arch on the right foot on the outside of my foot. I’m exchanging for a different pair that I’m sure will have an insole for a left shoe and a right shoe.

I always wear a size 8. The size 8 was too small so I went to a size 8.5. It fit. But these shoes are not comfortable for long walks. I have narrow feet. This shoe hurts my big toe. The soles are hard. I didn't realize how uncomfortable they were until I went for a long walk. Very disappointed.

The shoes seem to run a bit small and the canvas is very stiff.

These shoes were hard and uncomfortable. I tried them on and immediately took them off. Ouch! I had high hopes too. They’re really cute. To be fair, I have a difficult time finding comfortable shoes. I wear basically only saucony.

Liked the look of the sneakers and the arch support. Unfortunately I found them to be uncomfortable overall so returned.

The fit was just ok. I found them to be very heavy and stiff. Not shoes to wear in the summer. Not as cute as pictured.

These are cute...but not comfortable. I wore them for 10 minutes and had to change shoes. I wore them to dance...not flexible at all.

They were very tight. Cute color though!

I can't say whether they were too big or too small. They just feel weird. Heel slips some.

Cute shoe, but there's almost no cushioning under the ball of the foot. I couldn't imagine wearing it for any extended length of time.

I got these for the 5 star reviews and because they looked cute and comfortable. I ordered a half size up per the reviews and they are oddly too small in toe box and then about a half size too big in the heel. What's worse is that they feel only a small step up from my converse. I thought these were going to be comfortable! They are not. Barely and cushion inside at all. Like wearing a cardboard box. Also feel like the sizing is goofy.

Cute style, but inconsistent sizing. I own several pairs of the Moc Star by Taos in 8.5. These Star Burst in 8.5 were much longer. Had to return.

The shoe was very nice and fit my right foot okay but the seam on the left foot dug into my bunion painfully and the material is so stiff I knew they would never be comfortable. That stiff canvas would have caused lots of blisters. Cute but not for me.

Incredibly small. I usually wear an 8 in sandals, an 8.5 in regular shoes and a 9 in hiking boots and running shoes. Ordered the 9 and couldn't even get my foot in to try them on. Cute shoes but only for people with tiny feet.
