This is not as comfortable as the brown/tan version that I always bought. I guess I'll have to search for another brand of comfortable shoes. So long New Balance it was nice to know you for the past 12 years.

The last time we ordered shoes they were made in America. Now they are made overseas. They shoes are not the same quality and they squeak every time you take a step

I live in these sneakers. I like the comfort of the cut-a-way sole of the 608 of yesterday. The new 608's have a flat sole that does not walk the same, bend the same or seemingly have as much lateral support. I have tried the 624's that have the sole of the old 608's but they are a different fit altogether with a longer toe box that trips me up.

I bought the shoes to play pickleball with because I love my other New Balance shoes. But they hurt my feet and my feet still hurt 24 hrs later. Don't understand why they hurt but maybe I need to try a pair on in store before I buy my next pair.

I was hoping to find a pair of shoes it would be comfortable to do walking in. I find that the right shoe is slightly smaller than the left. My other new balance shoes have never had this problem. I doubt they would buy another pair of shoes online again. Very disappointed.

I was looking for the New Balance ROUND toe and this narrowed too much for comfort. Disappointed!

I have been wearing 608 wide for 6 months ordered these these are huge. Tied of having my daughter having to send them back and wait 1 week for another pair. The reps Miss lead me in the size not fair. What is going on with the quality. I think these should re send me a pair of regular 6.5 standard that are not defective

Wish these shoes were easy to wear right out of the box. They are not - you have to break them in. Colors are ugly.

After little use and no abuse, the shoes are starting to fall apart. This was unexpected. The sole of one of the shoes is beginning to separate at the toe.

I bought these shoes because of the availability of the "wide" size option. However, the shoe narrowed as it went toward the toe. I need a wide size because my foot at my toes is very wide.
I purchased the shoes with confidence in the wide option. This time it didn't work.

1/2 size over my normal shoe size, the sneakers are stiff and lack comfortable support. While they do look appealing, comfort level is at best mediocre.

Following up my review from last month. As mentioned, I have worn a version of this sneaker for almost 20 years. I always ordered 81/2 M and they fit perfectly. The last two pair I purchased have been uncomfortable and the length felt short. I wasn't sure what had happen and finally decided to do a side by side comparison with an old pair I started wearing again. See attached picture. The sneaker on the right is the new sneaker and It is clear the sole has been redesigned. This design change makes the sure extremely uncomfortable for me and causes pain in my knees and Achilles Tendons. I can longer wear this style sneaker. I have to say good bye to what was once my "go to" sneaker.

I ordered the size12narrow(AA) Usually I wear size 11/11.5 but ordered up based on other reviews and the length was ok but the heel width was very, very wide even with thick socks I could remove the shoe with out untying the laces. The fabric and the neutral color of the shoes was very nice looking. sadly, I returned the shoes due to the fit.

The prior version of these shoes was excellent, and I have enjoyed them very much. However, the current ("new and improved" version) is not nearly as good as far as fit, comfort, etc. The sole of the shoe has been changed so that it now collects small rocks which are carried into the house, the foot bed is harder and does not conform to the foot, and is not comfortable, New Balance has added too much padding in the back part of the shoe, which pushes the foot too far forward, so that foot bed does not support foot correctly, especially at the arch, and they have narrowed the front part of the shoe so that there is less room for the toes. The foot bed seems to be harder and is not as comfortable as prior version. Basically, they have ruined what was an excellent design on these shoes. I am returning this pair because I am very disappointed in the fit and comfort. Why can't they "leave well enough alone" when they had an excellent design for these shoes in the prior version? This is very disappointing! I have to return them because they hurt my feet. I may give up on New Balance shoes entirely, and try other brands instead. The Ryka Dash 3 is excellent, and very comfortable.

I liked the shoes but they didn't feel like they were narrow and my toes hit the ends, so they seemed too short. Don't know if it was just because my foot was sliding down because they weren't narrow enough.

I usually get the 608v4 but it's was discontinued so I tried the new 608. The toe box was too narrow and I was not comfortable with the insoles. The D width was fine in general but not in the area of the toe box. I really miss the 608v4.

I have long worn New Balance 624. No longer available so have ordered 608's in two sizes, neither of which fit.

I have been wearing new balance for many years - 813's and they were great. When I looked for them recently I couldn't find them so I ordered another one. I ordered wide which I have always done and when I got them, they were so tight they pinched my toes. I sent them back, very uncomfortable.
