These shoes have great cushioning, which I need for 8 hours a day on a concrete floor. I put on 12 - 20,000 steps per shift, and my feet feel good at the end of the day. Time will tell on their durability. I have added a slightly stiff aftermarket insole, but the cushioning is still great.

flat bottom choe is excellent for hard surfaces. Especially blacktop for Pickelball play.

I've worn this style NB shoe for about five years. Usually a new pair every 9-12 months. It's getting very hard to find shoes that are leather.not mesh. I use them for both work and "Saturday" wear and find them comfortable. Because they are leather they keep my feet clean, warm and dry. Mesh shoes just don't work for my every day wearing. My previous style number was difficult to find this time around so I chose this model. Basically they are equivalent to my preferred model EXCEPT for the soles. These are promoted as "work" shoes and they have a more "indoor" sole pattern.very smooth slip resistant style- not the more rugged walking or sports type of sole. I will be keeping them mostly because leather sneakers are getting pretty hard to find.

So far these shoe seem to be durable, comfortable and sturdy. I am flat-footed and the shoes appear to be helping me to take more steady turns in the kitchen.

The right had an imperfection. Sent both shoes back. Something went wrong with the return. No chance to call. service has been very good.

Great Shoe, purchasing 5th pair, but the last pair did not last. DS went on a retreat, the front part unglued, but he was doing quite a bit of walking and on rough terrain in the hill country, so we are purchasing his 5th pair

Great shoe - please do not change the style. How about more choice in colors ?

We have been purchasing shoes from New Balance for our son since he was just a little lad. With (now) size 15 with a 4E width, nothing comes close to the options that we have found with New Balance for sturdy construction and supportive footwear.

I ordered these shoes for walking. I have worn NB shoes for years because they have been the best fit for me. I purchased these shoes because I wanted something with more leather for colder days. I have not used leather walkers for some time. These are well constructed and for the most part comfortable but they need breaking in unlike lighter more flexible styles. I do wish the toe box was a bit wider.

I hate breaking in new shoes. My heel has been killing me but I think it was because my previous sneakers were broken down inside. My heel is now starting to feel better after I have worn these new ones for a few weeks. I just wish because of the type of work that I do they had a sole that was not quite so slippery on a wet floor.

I like these shoes, I'm into my second pair, but I do have a question/comment/aggravation: why are the shoelaces so long? I tie them in a double knot with loops as big as possible without walking on them and still the lace tips are touching the ground. Can't you use shorter laces?

They are pretty comfortable. I doing a lot of walking on tiled floors, for my job, and so far so good.

I have been buying this type shoe for 20 years. I can get it in wide and it is comfortable. I can use them a long time before they have to be thrown away. I gave it a four stars because for the last 5-10 years there has been a tendency for the glue on the soles of these shoes to let loose. Not always and not on all shoes, but it is a problem. Also, the interiors don't last more than about five months without developing holes in the fabric. I use shoe goop to re-glue the soles and ignore the holes in the fabric. So, could be better but as good as anything else I've found.

I really liked the look and overall feel of the shoe, but the toe box was just a bit too tight for me. I wear a 10.5 Regular, but sometimes need just a little extra room near the toes. These rubbed my little toes just a little too much so I had to return them (and was promptly refunded - thanks New Balance!).

I wear these just about everyday. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I put them on. Nice cushion, fit is what I expected. Gave only 4 stars because I haven't had them long enough to see how well they last. I would recommend these shoes.

I've worn these shoes about 10 times. They have taken a little more break in time than my Footjoys normally do.

I have a problem getting blisters on my left foot. Not sure if it is my foot or the shoe.

I've tried numerous times to call to get return label for bigger size. On hold way to long.

The fit is as described and very comfortable I will Buy more.

I bought these shoes to replace my worn-out pair that I had been buying for years by no longer available. They are comfortable, but do not give as much support in the heel to keep my plantar fasciitis quiet.

I have already bought these shoes twice before. Works great for my job.

Makes a work shoe for me, sturdy construction and comfortable

New Balance is not the best, most comfortable or most durable shoe around, but it's the only one I can find sold in honest widths. I have a wide foot and, as a result, have worn nothing but New Balance for years. They are OK.

Fit is accurate. Feel a bit bulky to me for walking but perhaps I'll get used to them. Comfortable as always

After having a bad experience with Asics, I turned back to New Balance to get my shoes, so I got my hands on a pair of these at a cheap sports shop on Yonge and Steeles in Size 11.5 2E. It fits me very well and isn't too hard on the ankles. Nothing too special, but it's a very good budget shoe for general use. I hope my next shoe buying experience is just as good as the one I had recently with this shoe.
