First, I want to comment on how fast the delivery on my new shoes. It was fast, two days! I ordered 4E wides they seemed a little tight. I have to go with a wider size with this type of shoe next time. All in all good quality for the price.

Last 2 pairs of Training shoes have been tighter. wish they still made the 840's I have purchased in past.

I'm in my mid sixties with Morton's neuroma. Wanted to get a wider score to accommodate a metatarsal pat and allow the foot need to spread out. So I ordered a half size larger than usual in 2E, rather than regular with. So far, so good. Have a few four to five mile days with less discomfort in the foot. Pretty happy with the results.

Bought this pair to replace worn out NB athletic shoes and worn out Nike athletic shoes. Wear these for walking dog, exercising on an elliptical trainer and casual occasions. Previous NB athletic shoes had served me well. Would never buy anything again from Nike, given their making a hero of Colin Kaepernick (sp??), following his refusal to stand for our National Anthem. So far, these new NB sport shoes have proven comfortable. Can't promise to buy NB shoes again, because of being 80 years old and maybe never buying another pair of shoes in my life.

I've been wearing some variation of New Balance 608s for over 20 years because they're comfortable and because they come in WIDE sizes. It's hard to find athletic shoes in wide sizes. Though I take a little ribbing from my boys with my "geezer shoes" (along with my crew socks), they are true classics. This version is pretty stiff out of the box, and they need a good "break-in" period to loosen up and conform to your feet. Good all-purpose shoes.

I'm on my second pair of apparently discontinued 624s, where my first pair lasted only 4 months where the sole in the toe area separated from the uppers. MX608V5 a lot rides on your build once my second pair of 624 dies, hopeful to get a year and not 4 months. I buy ahead of time as to not get caught in the supply chain issue and NB have been great to me before, that's why I stick with them :)

I got the same trainers I always get (MX608V5) in the same color. They are $50 cheaper than ones I got a while ago. I thought about changing style or color, but I decided to stay the course. Very comfortable and a good fit (4E width).

I'm a nurse on my feet for 12+ hour shifts. Generally a very good sneaker. I have one spot below my great toe that rubs and irritates it. Hopefully once they get worn in a bit it won't bother me anymore.

Great shoe great fit however inside the top left shoe by the base of my big toe is it not of thread or glue which is jamming into my toe after wearing them for two days I was going to return them however I sniffed it off with scissors and it's fine now this should've been probably sent out a seconds that was my only disappointment

Nice enough shoes that, unfortunately, I need. They are easy-in easy-out for both my feet and my orthotics. But beware that not all 2E's are created equal, not even within New Balance. I have other New Balance shoes which just don't fit the same, not wide enough for the orthitics and not so easy-in easy-out. So you need to know your shoes!

Updated my old pair because I love this shoe. Comfortable and wear well. Offer good support.

I like the shoes LOT Any chance you have a 608 available in either canvass or swade ?

This is a very sturdy, well made shoe. However, it is not as comfortable as other shoes I've tried. It also makes my feet stink.

I have worn 409's for 10 years or longer. So you can imagine how unhappy "me and my feet" were when I couldn't find a new pair. So I tried the 608. It is ok. It is slightly different. I really wish they would bring the 409 Crosstrainer back!

Jury is still out, sole us softer than I like, but you don't have the 624 available right now, and can't afford the 840 GPS. I may return them???

After knee replacement surgery and delayed healing, my physician suggested I throw away my dress shoes (high heels) and purchase my New Balance. Your Customer Service Representative to exceptional interest in my problem and suggested this item. Considering my specific needs, he steered me to this particular model SPOT ON! After a couple of days, I was able to appreciate the benefit of my New Balance. I can now walk with no pain. Amazing!!!! Thank you for such a quality product and staff.

I bought these shoes but they were too big and needed to return them. I took them to the store in Wyoming, Mi 2 weeks ago. Bought 2 pairs of shoes (very comfortable) and they reutrned them to NB from the store -- still waiting for my credit for the first purchase.

Generally I use for walki9ng. They were expensive for me so I do not use them everyday. They are a good looking shoe yet they are not very comfortable as far as the insole and lack in sturdy stability from side to side

Good for walking. Great comfort. Good for wide size.

I only wish these shoes came in 13 Narrow, women's size. Instead, I have to order men's size 11.5 and they are always too wide.

They are a great shoe from New Balance and should last a long time as other shoes of this brand have.

These are decent shoes for the price. The size was true (I wear an 11). The laces are very long, but seem to stay tied without having to add the "baby knot" to the bow. I would buy them again.

got these in size 8 (given that the new balance 574 fit me perfectly in size 8). At first fit I thought that I should've gotten the 8.5. the material (leather?) is certainly stiffer than that of the 574 so the first 2 days were spent breaking them in, and they are much more comfortable now, though still a little small, so if you fluctuate a .5 between sizes you may want to go for the bigger option. The support is great but not like walking on a cloud (probably for the better). It's a heavy shoe for heavy work and you may feel that heaviness for a bit if your exercise is closer to running. I also had to relace the shoes to give my feet more space.

I have gone through three pairs of 624s... But apparently they are no longer available.... Hopes are high that these 608s will do as well or better. White color and not too bold logo or decorations is what I want in addition to all day comfort.... So far so good...
