The size and fit were very good. They just didn't look right on my feet. The look is just not as "rugged" as the older Venture 5 style.

arch support could have been better

Good looking shoe. Good support. I have really odd feet. Ordered one size big, one size smaller. Neither fit right. Trying different shoe.

A hole appeared shortly after bought them. They wore out fairly fast. Don’t seam to be made of high quality material.

Felt a bit large. My foot keeps sliding forward. There is also a buckle on the right toe area that appeared after wearing a few times. Doesn't affect walking but looks a little funky. Tread is good and solid for hiking.

They fit!

Good for hiking BUT the stitching comes undone on top by the big toe area. After that my toe comes through. I bought these on 12/9/20 and noticed the stitching is opening. I have only had them less than 3 months. These are the second pair that this has happened to. First pair thought it was just a fluke but now again. I did buy another pair but if it happens again done with these!!

My husband has another pair similar to this shoe and it fit perfectly. But, after 2 years he needed a new pair. I ordered the same name brand and size 12.5 4E and he could barely fit his foot in the shoe and the laces weren't long enough to reach the top. Although, without the foot in the shoe the laces look long enough.

Small in toe box and sides already fraying

I purchased the Gel-Venture 6 and it fits to a tee! So perfect! This shoe does not fit the same-even though it is the next generation of the venture 6. The ARCH does not land in the same place. It is to forward in the shoe. The shoe also is more narrow at the top of the arch. I have a high arch and a high instep this shoe is NOT a good fit for me. I will be returning, and searching for the Gel-Venture 6 instead. Very Disappointed :(

Great shoe but the toe box felt pretty tight. Definitely should have gone up a half size.

Certainly not a bad shoe for the price. Insole is not removable without ripping it out of the shoe and doesn't have a lot of arch support. The shoelaces are ridiculous - flimsy and won't stay tied unless you double know them.

I'm waiting for a return voucher. They just didn't work. Thanks anyway.

I walk on the outsides of my feet and that KILLS shoes within weeks so that the soles collapse on the outside of my foot making my foot - rolling even worse and it really hurts my ankles. These shoes make that even worse right out of the box. On their website, ASICS goes into lots of detail about different pressure points and their names (walking on the outside of your feet is called overpronation) how the shoes work with or against them but then on the actual shoe description it just says a pattern, for example the description for this shoe simply said: overpronation. What does that mean? Does this shoe cause overpronation? Does this shoe help correct overpronation? We now know this shoe has a tendency to roll your foot outward. If you already walk on the outsides of your feet - stay away! If you walk on the insides of your feet and want to correct that, give these a try. Everything else was fine.

These inexpensive shoes feel ok. But the laces are a weak point (thin and stretchy). They can be really hard to unknot.
