I wear a 10.5. I ordered the 11 ...too small...then the 12......still too small. Returned . Very bad sizing.

The size is inconsistent. I am a true 9.5 and first ordered size 39. It was too small and exchanged for size 40. It was even smaller!

Not true to size but a darling shoe. I want it to fit so badly! Must return second pair due to improper sizing.

Cute shoes but, I wear a size 9.5 US. The outside label of the box said that they were this size, but they were more like a size 7 when I tried them on. There was no way my foot was going to fit in them. Also, they shipped in an Amazon box loose. Made me wonder if they were counterfeit.

Ok - I was sent two left shoes! How does this even happen….making a return :(

There is NO way this is a size 42/12. Definitely looked more like a 10!

These shoes run VERY small. I take an 10 1/2-11 but could not even get my foot in a size 12!

Fit was overall not good...not a fan

This shoe was a size 40 in a European size, which is equivalent to a size 9 in the US. I ordered a size 10, which is a size 41 in a European size.

I ordered a size 10 and was sent a size 9. FYI a size 10 in european is a 41 not a 40. Had I known that this shoe was in a a european size I would have ordered a size 11.

The shoe runs very small! I was unable to tell anything else about the shoe since it was so tight!

I always take a medium width but these mediums were very narrow. I returned them since there is no wider option than medium.

The pair I bought were too tight and I sent them back. Will likely try again when the color I want is in stock. Very cute.

They simply weren't at all what I was expecting. Too large, not enough support, and they made an off-putting squeaking sound on surfaces.

I ordered US size 10 or EU size 40. I received a Size 37 instead. Someone is not doing their job and reading orders correctly.

I ordered a size 9 and received a size 8, so had to return these shoes. And, no, I was not confused about the European size. Both the shoe box and the shoes themselves were marked as size 8.

When I purchased this shoe, I absolutely loved it! I work in a hospital so I am on my feet most of the day. This shoe has the perfect blend of both style and comfort. However, I noticed over time the shoe started slipping off my feet. The microfiber stretches, and stretched to the point the shoe no longer fits. I wrote the Ilse Jacobsen customer service to ask if there was anything that could be done. I was informed by Ilse Jacobsen I should have bought a smaller size because the microfiber will stretch overtime. I asked why this information was not passed along to their retailers to share with customers, but have not had a response. Basically after just a few months of wear, these shoes are now garbage to me. I will never buy another product from Ilse Jacobsen again. If you do plan to purchase this shoe, or another microfiber shoe from IJ, keep in mind you need to purchase a smaller size. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Way too small in both width and length

These shoes squeak every time I take a step. I will not be keeping them.

If these came in size 5 1/2 they would have been perfect. Had to return.

I love these shoes but the sizing is off. I wear a size 9 in womens shoes. I have 4 pairs of Else Jacobsens all of which are European size 41. The problem here is that American size 9 translates to European size 39 ( maybe a 7)). There is no option to buy a size 41. You need to buy these shoes in person because there is no option to choose the European size. You have to guess

I have 3 pair of Ilse Jacobsen's and have been waiting for the navy. I wear a size 10 so I ordered EU size 40. They are way too small, so i looked at my other pairs and they are size 42. I believe the order instructions that size 10 is a 40 is incorrect.

This was incredibly smaller than normal

I am a size 6.5, so I have trouble with Euro sizing. Depending on the shoe, they can be too big or too small. These are cute shoes but the sizing just didn’t work for me. The 37 was huge and I didn’t want to take a chance on the 36. Love Zappos, especially in my search for comfortable shoes for travel.
