European size was too small and too narrow. Ordered 2 pair in different sizes and returned both. I gave up after that.

These are cute shoes and are likely comfortable, but are really small.

EU 42 just isn't long enough for my long foot and that's the largest size available.

Wanted so much to love these. I have easy to fit feet and thought these would be perfect. However, the leather feels flimsy like if I wasn't careful my big toe might start to poke through. The shoe weirdly squished the skin on top of my foot together which then looked like ripples in the key hole type cut out at top - strange. I have pretty narrow feet too so couldn't figure it out. Sadly a return.

I was so excited for these shoes but even without socks, they run very small. Very difficult to get on and off as well. I returned these.

these look cute but nowhere close to a size 11. I was looking forward to them so disappointed

I own 5 pairs of this shoe in all different colors, in a size 9 and I love them. Don't know if they have switched manufacturers or not, but the shoe felt almost a full size smaller. I havent gained any weight and am always a size 9, so I was really disappointed to have to return them.

Its such a cute shoe however it does run a full size small. The killer, for me, is the area where the top of the shoe meets the sole is sharp and rub on the outside of the foot. Not comfortable.

Beautiful shoe but undersize on width and length.

Be advised this olive color actually is a light spring green color.

I have worn Ilse Jacobsen Tulip slip ons for years. I think I have every color! The last 3 pairs I have ordered feel a full size larger. I cannot wear them without socks, so now they look a little corny. My black, navy and olive Ilse Jacobsen Tulips are not sized similarly to the other colors I own. Puzzling.

Very cute shoes but had to return because TOO SMALL!

the sole is thick and not flexible, although it looks segmented. It's like walking with a board strapped to your foot.

Be very careful with Ilse Jacobsen tulip shoes. About one month ago, I ordered size 36 in light green, but instead I received a very dark olive/grey shoe. However, I kept the shoes because they fit well. When I ordered the same size 36, same style from Zappos approximately one week ago in a different color, the size was way off - about 1/2 size too long and very very narrow. Couldn't get my normal size 6 foot into them. The arch was way too tight. Loved the color, but they don't fit at all like my last 2 pairs. Have to send them back. It is evident that the size 36 has two different molds when the shoes are made.

This is not a shoe for a person with a high instep. A very cute shoe but alas it has to go back.

I have 4 pairs and keep adding more colors. The ones I have fit perfectly and are very comfortable. The problem is the sizing of this pair. I always order a 42 which is equal to a size 11. I could not get this pair on my feet. Something is off. They may be knock-offs, I don't know but back they went. Too bad I loved the grey color.

These shoes are really cute, but they're *very* narrow. I tried sizing up, but that wasn't enough. My toes were really squished together, so I had to return. Great pair of shoes for those of you with narrow feet!

They were so much smaller than the other color I bought I couldn’t get them on. Just found them in the box in the closet today. I forgot to return them!

I loved the style and ordered my normal size size 9. It was so short that I could not even put it on my foot. I exchanged it for a size 10; again it was far too short. I retuned and asked for my money back. Very disappointing. I figured that if they were that off on sizing that the shoe would not be worth my bother.

These shoes are wonderful. This will be my third pair. However, Zappos sells them with matching to your US size. I am a size 10 but the 41 they sent me are TOO small. I think that the sizes are not correctly converted when you get to the larger show sizes. I am returning but will get the next size up. It would be helpful if Zappos put the european size they are giving you when ordering.

I wear a 10.5. I ordered the 11 ...too small...then the 12......still too small. Returned . Very bad sizing.

The size is inconsistent. I am a true 9.5 and first ordered size 39. It was too small and exchanged for size 40. It was even smaller!

Not true to size but a darling shoe. I want it to fit so badly! Must return second pair due to improper sizing.

Cute shoes but, I wear a size 9.5 US. The outside label of the box said that they were this size, but they were more like a size 7 when I tried them on. There was no way my foot was going to fit in them. Also, they shipped in an Amazon box loose. Made me wonder if they were counterfeit.

Ok - I was sent two left shoes! How does this even happen….making a return :(
