My husband talked me into trying this shoe as I have bunions and wear a special insert. I absolutely love this shoe. I walk 4 to 5 miles a day. I'm 77 years old and plan to keep walking for a long time. Please make this shoe in other colors! I'm tired of the gray, I don't like black, so I really was excited when the pink came out. So...there are no pink ones in a 7.5 wide. How about aqua, or other pretty colors? Help!

This shoe is amazing. I purchased it in the Spring a half size larger according to all my other athletic shoes but found ordering a half size less fits me better. I have such bad feet and wear orthotics which fit inside perfectly. I feel I am walking on carpet and I love the look with pure leather toe trim it doesn't show dirt like others I have had.
Normally I wear 8 1/2 wide but that "D" width is what makes it so perfect for me since most shoes come "C" when it says wide. Thank you Zappos for free delivery and return. Sometime we just have to try a shoe to see what fits.

I wear them to train at the gym and for long walks along the lakefront. They look stylish but not too trendy. I love that they were made in Maine.

I have a hip problem that usually means I cannot wear a lot of the shoes out on the market today. However, these shoes are the most comfortable ones I have found. My husband and I went on vacation right after I received them and I did a LOT of walking up and down hills in Niagara Falls, Ontario. My hip did not bother me at all - and that is a first. I will order more when I need to for sure!

I have long and thin foot and have a lot of difficulty finding shoes. The fit and look of the shoe is great. I ordered the narrows. Unfortunately, the suede accents made the shoe feel hot so I returned it.

I Love my Grey 990V5 New Balance Shoes except for the metal USA emblem on the tongue of each shoe. The metal USA emblem is uncomfortable on my foot when the shoe laces are laced. My previous 990's were never uncomfortable on my foot as these are.

This is the first pair of your wonderful shoes I am having a problem with. The right shoe is fantastic so comfortable while the left is killing my foot on the bottom of the big toe. This is a first for me with all of your shoes I have gotten and for my kids WE LOVE THEM. Any suggestions?

I really like New Balance. I was wearing New Balances many years ago when they weren't that popular. I don't like the cost though. Too expensive so this will be my only pair. Great looking shoe.

I have worn size 10 990s Standard Medium Width B for at least 20 years now and love the cushioning they provide. However, these new ones run much wider than my old 990s (some of which I still have as proof!). In these new 990s I found that I take a Narrow (2A), instead of my usual Standard Medium (B). The color choices are so limited anyway, and I can't seem to find get any gray 990s in a narrow width now. This is disappointing.

I love the shoes but need a wider pair than your wide size. I have a lot of feet problems and the doctor says a wider shoe would help.

I bought these for a recent trip & while they are comfortable, my heels started hurt a little after a day of walking. Idk if it's b/c the heel of sneakers are a little harder. Overall, great pair of sneakers
