The old saying you get what you pay for holds true. THESE ARE EXCELLENT QUALITY SHOES. Yes they cost more but these will last longer than : months I recommend

Comfortable. More clunky in person than online from top view but cute from the side still!

So I'm not sure why there are so many reviews stating that they don't fit properly. I found my shoe size years ago by having them measured in a store. I ordered my size exactly 9.5 2E and when they came in they fit perfectly! My hard orthopedic made inserts fit in them, so huge plus. I will definitely be ordering another pair soon.

I do a lot of standing and am on my feet for several hours a day. I also have back issues. These shoes fit great and help my back and feet a lot. I recommend them to anyone who has to stand almost all day, especially if you have back trouble. My foot doctor recommended New Balance when I had minor foot surgery. My back always tells me when it is time to purchase a new pair. I especially enjoy that these shoes are AMERICAN MADE. I always know they will be a good fit. I only wish that they would not use white shoe laces, they don't always do anything for the shoe color and I always end up changing from an old pair of shoes.

I had a very extensive surgery on my left foot 3 months ago. I spent 6 weeks in a cast and 6 weeks in a boot. As a part of my recovery, my doctor now says I can't go barefoot or in flip flops. I need to spend another 6 weeks in supportive sneakers. My surgeon recommended these immediately after I asked and I can see why. Even with multiple surgical scars that are still completing the healing process, these shoes are extremely comfortable. I bought both the grey and black models and was given a 10% medical discount. I think more color options would be a good idea though.

I have been walking for about four years now as part of my exercise. I've tried many athletic shoes that didn't give the support I needed. New balance 990 gives me that support. The shoe fits snug but not to tight. The toe box is wide enough to wiggle your toe's and they are durable. Also they are made in the USA. I am very pleased with this shoe.

I bought these for my granddaughter for Xmas. She absolutely loved them!

Very comfortable, true to size and appears to be very well made. I'm a senior and my daughters recommended this shoe for comfort and stability based on their own experience with this shoe.

If you have wide feet this is the best choice for you I always order it for my husband

These shoes are a win for 3 reasons. They are the only shoes I've owned that don't have to be taken off at the door. I don't know why these sneakers do not pick up up gravel; I only know that the soles nearly always are clean. Secondly, they are the only shoes I own that keep my feet from aching after I do my weighted vest stair climbs. Thirdly, I am proud to buy American made. They are constructed very well and look great on.
