I'm a true 8.5 in Vans old skool shoes. I bought 8 and 8.5 in these shoes and I kept the size 8. Size 8 was perfect fit with still room to wiggle my toes. Just the other day I was running in these shoes and they were so comfortable. 8.5 was a lot looser around the toe area but length was just a hair bit bigger than the 8. If you have wider feet go with 8.5. I have a normal to wide feet and like I said 8 was perfect fit for me.

I was trying to find a replacement for the 990 that they no longer make. This shoe is the updated version. Same comfort and look so I am pleased with these shoes. I read that the V5 is a vegan version. Honestly I would have been happy if they had used leather in the shoe, I don't care about being "vegan". I hope this synthetic leather will hold up. Maybe that's why they cost so much. Anyway except for the price I am very happy with the shoes.

I was looking for a shoe that could accommodate my wide toes (bunions), narrow ankles and high arch/instep. These shoes fit great and have enough room for an Orthotic insole, when needed.
They are made in the USA which is great! I did not need the grey and black American flag on the tongue. Fortunately the laces cover this design miss.
Overall, these will work ok with jeans and sweats/leggings for walking. The drop is more than I like for running. I think these will last for several years and be a go to shoe for many activities.

It's a nice shoe, but I have trouble walking and usually wear the 928. I don't think this is as stable of shoe as the 928. I haven't been able to find the 928 at any of the shoe stores I go to. Please get back to work and make these shoes! You have been a dependable company and I am very disappointed to hear that you cancel orders from these places because you can't fill them.

I've been getting a lot of Jordan's and dunks but I find they aren't comfortable to walk in for long periods of time. BRING IN THESE BABIES. Game changer. Def TTS. I'm a 7.5 and purchased 7.5B and they fit amazing

I wear a 11 2A woman's and this shoe is fantastic. My only problem is they never have an 11 2A available in Canada so I have to get them from the U.S. and pay a lot of fees.

I have normal feet (not wide/narrow) and find the toe box to be a bit roomy. I purchased a size 9, but think I could have sized down to an 8.5 it and would have been ok, too. I kept the 9 and wear them all the time. This shoe is comfortable and versatile and am very pleased, overall.

I have worn this same shoe for years. I am having more trouble finding than I used to. I heard from my shoe store that New Balance is moving production our of the USA. Not happy with that decision.
