I have very narrow feet and this shoe is the best fit for me.

My husband and I have been wearing New Balance Shoes for many years. They offer more side support than other popular running shoes, so your foot doesn't slip around in your shoe as much. We both wear 12 AA, and that size is very hard to find in other shoes. I hope they continue to keep up the quality they have shown in the past and continue to provide side support and not cut costs like other brands have gone.

Bought a half size down and they fit very comfortable. They also look great and put together with any outfit.

Bough for my wife, good looking and comfortable for walking she says. Satisfied despite my prior bias towards these shows.

I have been wearing the 990 series for many years now. They are a great shoe with lots of support, even though I put a custom made orthodic in them. I ordered it in black. I did get a size 8 when I normally wear a 7.5 in my other shoes. The guy at On The Run told me I needed to wear an 8 in an athletic shoe.

I have purchased the NB 990v5 for the last 5 years. It is the shoe that I wear everywhere. My orthotics fit in the D width of this shoe. I have to use arch supports whenever I'm on my feet. I am wearing the new pair of 990s indoors and the older pair are now my outside shoes.

both my spouse and I have worn the 990s for years... indeed, each of us have had several pairs. Nowadays we mostly walk, but still find the 990 great for stability and pronation. We also really appreciate that it comes in wide sizes. I have purchased the last two pairs on-line directly from New Balance. In each instance, ordering was a breeze, and I got the shoes in a few days. Somehow there was a mix up with the last order and we received the shoes in the wrong width. The return process was easy. My only hesitation about continuing with the 990 shoe is the steadily increasing cost. My spouse insisted on buying regardless... not sure that will work if the cost continues its steep increases.

Love my new balance so comfy and stylish. So worth all the money.

To sum it up in one word: quality! Shoes are well-made and very comfortable. Only thing is I wish I could have gotten in a more fun color...

I use these sneakers for the gym they're also great for running. 990v5 are true to size. These sneaky have excellent support and cushion. I am proud to wear them made in the USA!

These shoes felt great from the moment I put them on to the moment I took them off. My foot is wide so I buy the wide width and no company except NB puts the support in the shoe that I need for my feet.

990's are the only running shoes i and those over 50 wear. They protect you from injuries as long as you get a new pair every 3 months.

I've been wearing New Balance all leather for decades; I still wear them as my dress shoes even tho people laugh at me wearing sneakers with a dress outfit. These shoes breathe easier snd are more comfortable right out of the box. The gray color is nice in that it doesn't show dirt. An excellent everyday shoe. I recognize that the component parts probably aren't from the US but I do want to do what I can to support jobs here in the US and avoid supporting the exploitation of clothing workers in other parts of the world.

I wear my 990s for walking. I like to walk 4-5 miles 3x a week. Since I walk so much, I believe my feet deserve the comfort and support that is provided by New Balance shoes.
