I've bought these shoes many times and am always happy with the comfort and service they provide. Please don't ever retire this style!

I'm using the sneakers for when I have to go shopping or just commuting. I love them. Great shoe.

So I need orthotics for both of my feet, and the NB 990 can accommodate them - takes a 2E width but 6hey work fine and my feet are happier (way less pain) than in years. They are a little heavy but the heel really hold my foot in a good position.

The 990 easily accommodates custom orthotic inserts. More than that, these shoes aid in balance while being very comfortable. I wear them regularly with all sorts of casual clothing.

I have been wearing New Balance exclusively since foot surgery ten years ago that resulted in nerve damage. The 990s are my favorite. The sole is thicker than the others yet still flexible and there is plenty of cushion in the uppers, yet they do not look bulky. They also last longer than any shoe I've had. Slightly longer than other styles. Made in USA. Keep making them, please! Would love a cream/tan or dark brown option.

Fits perfect

I love everything about this sneaker the comfortability, color, fit...everything! I was at first saddened that they didn't come laced, but I actually now think that's awesome b/c I was able to lace them so that they best fit my level of comfort. I wear a 6.5 in most sneakers so I ordered a 6.5 and they fit perfect!

I wear these NB's everyday so comfortable and secure footing my all time favorite. Wish there were more colors

I generally find sneaks to be tight in the toe box so I ordered the 990v5 in a D width but find that the overall width is too wide. My last pair of New Balance, which I still wear are a size 5 and I believe regular width and my new ones are more comfortable.

Ordered size 8... was a bit large... needed to down size to 7.5 ... unfortunately 7.5 in the original show I ordered was out of stock so I settled on this show ... net result very satisfied and I just received my funds for the return....

I've been buying this shoe for years. The fit is perfect. High quality, make in the USA, best option I've ever found.

This is my second pair of 990v5 in five years. I wear them for walking and working out at the gym and they are the most comfortable shoes I've owned. It's pretty difficult to find a women's size 12, much less in narrow, so I'm grateful that New Balance carries such a great product. I highly recommend!

I usually wear 574s but I have several pairs. I wanted something gray so I bought these and they feel so good. They are great. I would recommend them to everyone.

Am I too cool for these shoes? Or are they too cool for me? Who cares I love them the same either way.

There very comfortable

I've been eyeing these shoes for a while. I wanted something comfortable but also aesthetically pleasing. Wore them straight out of the box. Perfect fit, came in great condition. Current favorite pair!

These shoes are quite literally like walking on a cloud. So comfy. Walked all over New York in them and my feet didn't hurt once! Worth every penny!
