I have wide feet so decided to get the shoes wide, and they are so comfortable. I always have to break my shoes in, all of them. There has been NO need to break these in.

When you walk five miles with your dogs every morning, you need to a reliable, comfortable and supportive shoe that you can count on and the 990 is it for me. I have been using them for decades.

Ahhh. These feel like walking on air. Day 1 wearing them with over 9300 steps and my feet NEVER hurt or ached. So comfy!!

These shoes are the most comfortable sneakers I've found through the years. I'm on my tenth pair. Since I have a hammer toe ,I need a shoe with a wide toe box and they fit the bill.

Folks, I used to wear this in my 20s and 30s because they were comfortable as heckcirca Steve Jobs era. Some New Balance exec my age did a good job selling this to supermodels.

I just want everyone to know, how amazing my NB shoes are. They're sleek and comfortable, I work in the ER , and walk a lot during my shift. I used to be in so much pain after work not anymore. I've received so many compliments from friends and co-workers I'd recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

I love these sneakers! They are super comfortable and look cool with so many outfits. My only gripe is that they are a bit wide and my feet kind of slosh around a little, but I still wear them all the time. Wish they made them in different colors!

My New Balance running shoes are for everything except running. Narrow shoes are still a thing! I was giving up hope, even on online stores, until I found NB.com.
They are classics not pointed toes. Again and again I buy, wear, reorder. Repeat.

these are my everyday shoes. i have 3 pair in gray, black and blue. i have problems with my arches, and with this top of the line , all the bells and whistles shoe, i am in good hands. been buying them since DR. recommended them in 2010.

The shoes were very comfortable out of the box. I love the cotton laces because they do not come untied during the day. One thing the shoe needs is the loop on the tongue to keep it in place.

Over the past few years, I have purchased several pair of this model NB. It is a very supportive shoe and accommodates my arthritic feet. It isn’t a soft shoe and somewhat stiff, but works for me.. I am afraid they will change discontinue this model and this is the last womens 7.5 in any color. Very substantial suede leather outer.. love it!
