My husband only lives in this shoe. We couldn't get it thru our favorite shoe store in black for 10 months, so I tried the internet. And there were 2 pairs available.

I need a wide shoe and these fit the bill perfectly. They are comfortable and nice looking too. I purchased several pair...gray, blue and I just ordered a black pair.

Bought a pair of shoes made in the USA Bought the size I always wear, but the shoes were small. Looked on the LLBeam website, they recommend to buy a size 1/2 larger than what you wear. I wish new balance understood their sizing issues as well as LLBean

Very comfortable shoe. Lace color (white) made it too bright for my taste--replaced the laces with gray color.

I have been buying the 990 for 20 years because it comes in narrow .... i stocked up at one time and had three extra pairs. All three degraded and came apart literally when i pulled them out of my closet and wore them! Moral of the story the shoe quality is poor but good if you wear them immediately and then they can last up to one year!!

Classic. Super comfortable and supportive. I have other New Balance for walking/running, but these are first choice for almost everything else.

These are durable shoes, and the 3rd pair I've owned. They last longer than most shoes. They are very supportive of your feet and super comfy. I travel for my job and am on my feet at airports lot, and I wear these on travel days. New Balance is a good brand that you can trust. I'd recommend these to anyone, especially to those with foot pain.

I was having heavy knee pain and ii knew it was due to my shoes but i didnt have a store near me and i didnt want to order online. But i eventually bit the bullet and orderes and im so glad i did. in onky 2 days my knee pain had all but disappeared. I love your product the only thing thats hard is how expensive your shoes are. i would give a 4.5 if i could

It's almost like being barefoot - that's how comfortable these shoes are. And they offer so much support for my feet!
