Have two more pairs.Love them.wear them most of the time.excellent craftsmanship and the best materials-lots of real leather.

My orthopedist highly recommended these to help with my Plantar Fasciitis. I've been wearing them almost non-stop for a few weeks, and so far I'm very happy with them. They're very sturdy and with the orthotics I added are very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

I have no vested interest in your company. I do not know anyone who works for NB. I am a "lifelong" customer. NB 900 series only shoe I have bought since they came out in the 80's. Love them. "Jogged" 3-4 miles almost daily for 20+ years. Participated in 5Ks and 10Ks. Nothing serious. Then went to a walking program. Still walking in NB 900 series today. Always comfortable, fit well. I wear them daily. I have a complaint. A while back I bought a pair of 990v5, M990GL5 Size 9 1/2, MFG 2118, LOC L They "squeak" when I walk. I recently bought this pair; 990v5, M990GL5, Size 9 1/2, MFG 2214, LOC D. These shoes also "squeak". I do not wish to return them. I am not asking for a refund. I make this comment as I know NB to be a good shoe and the company might want to know some of their shoes are kinda noisy. Never had that problem before. I will be back for my next pair, tho.

Wife loved the looks. American Flag on tongue was discreet and much appreciated - Just the right amount of cushion and support - I Love these shoes !! Best I've ever owned

This is the second pair of these shoes I have purchased from New Balance. Being Made in America makes the shoes more expensive, but the last pair lasted three times longer than "cheaper" shoes.

These shoes are wonderful! I had plantar fasciitis and I was worried that they wouldn't be comfortable. But they are some of the most comfortable sneakers I've ever worn. I use them with an insert which makes them fit even better.

Best shoe ever. Forth pair! Made in USA!!! The shoes are quality made and they fit perfectly. For a guy with a foot like a duck, there is no other shoe. Thank you LL Bean for carrying the shoes.

Hello, I had ordered the wrong width so I returned them to the New Balance store in Annapolis. The Lady that waited on my wife and I could not have been more helpful. She returned the shoes I had ordered online and found the correct size at another store and had them shipped to my home in a few days. The experience was Great !! Thank You

I ordered two pairs of 990v5. Different colors. I received 2 pairs of a much less expensive shoe, same color. I used the return shipping label and am waiting for refund credit. I have used New Balance since they first made good running shoes available. I no longer can run a marathon, but I still love the shoes.

This is an expensive shoe. I expected it to be better quality. For example: the tongue is too short. It slips down into the shoe. I pull it up; it slips down. Other high-end shoes at least have a loop in the tongue that you can thread the laces through to keep it from slipping. New Balance has a lot cheaper models for sale that seem to be virtually no different from this model. It's not a good value for the money.

Great shoe with teriffic insole padding and cushioning. I suffer from Plantar Faciitis and this shoe seems to help keep that problem at bay!

They are comfortable and my feet don't like shoes of ANY sort ,,,,But they like these

Overall product has been wonderful and super comfortable. Fit Wonder with no issues.

This is my 5th pair in the last 13 years; and won't be my last. I wear nothing else. It stops my back pain .

These are great shoes for bad feet that need extra support. I wish they lasted longer than 6 months before breaking down though.

These running/walking shoes are my go to workout shoes. This is the 6th pair I have purchased and I have 2 pair in rotation ( everyday a dry pair of shoes for my workout). These shoes fit my feet, are comfortable, provide great support ant I have not had an injury since starting with these shoes (run walk 4 miles+ a day, 59 year old male). The shoes are expensive, but worth the investment.

Compared to my 990v3 and 992, the V5 generally felt like a downgrade. This is mostly personal preference, but the color of the midsole is pretty dark and therefore feels like you're wearing a full black shoe. It only came with black laces too. Not a fan of this specific execution and the value is less there with the price hike since the v4, but still overall a decent shoe. Would have given it a 5 of the midsole had might white/grey/cream tones and included a white and/or cream set of laces. Without that, this shoe ends up looking like something you wear with a work uniform.

I walk 5 miles a day, most comfortable shoe that i own. You can feel the quality in this shoe, must likely because it's made in the USA

Had to return because product too heavy for my preference
