Customer Reviews New Balance Made in US 990v5

I bought this product for my mom because she had foot pain, and her doctor recommends this product for her. She likes it so much because she feels very comfortable. The only thing I still don't like because of its high price and available stocking, I tried to order many places and many times, but it is always in cancel order status.

The 990v5, 6e, shoes that I purchased recently are excellent. I use them for my daily 1-hour power-walk and they feel quite comfortable. The purchase transaction proceeded smoothly and timely.

My son loves these sneakers. He said they are quite comfortable as he stands on his feet all day to work. The shipping was super fast, too.

I've worn New Balance shoes for many years because they FIT, they're ATTRACTIVE, and they LAST.

For me these are the best walking shoes. I have had several pairs and they always hold up.

I don't have any negative comments. This fits great, is made in the USA, and meets all of my expectations. I looked at a lot of shoes. I was looking for a correct size toe box, something that was good for over-pronation, accommodated orthotics, and felt great as well as being well constructed. Folks, this is it and well worth the money!

I gave him a pair for his birthday a little early because his back and feet were hurting him. These are his favorite shoes he won't wear anything else. He was so happy to get them and they fit his feet perfectly. No more pain! These shoes are always on back order so glad I finally went to NB web site to get them without any problems.

I have been buying 990's for over 20 years so I am invested in the product. Bought Black and silver and have only worn them a couple times as I still have a pair of 990v5 that I use for exercise.

I bought these for my 15 year old son and he loves these! He loves the fashion and he says they are super comfortable!

I got a chance to wear these shoes for the first time last week. From a fit and comfort perspective, they are phenomenal. However, after wearing them for the first time (about 3 miles, exclusively on paved surfaces), the surface of the heel of the shoes have already started to peel away. (See pictures.) This is very disappointing as these are supposed to be premium sneakers with premium build quality and they have a premium price to match. Maybe I got a dud pair but for the price that these sneakers cost, I certainly hoped for better quality control.

My go to shoe for my walking activities. Better than a running shoe for walking, more sturdy that supports the whole foot. Moderate pronating support in the heel.

I wear these in an Operating room all day everyday. Concrete floors are unforgiving. The New Balance 990v5 is very forgiving and gets me through some rough days.

We love the shoes and only wear New Balance. Can't figure out why you put flat white laces in them. It made them look cheap. I quickly replaced the laces with grey oval laces.

I was obsessed with old school NB running shoes but these are almost as good! Really like but they do seem to wear out on the heel tread pretty fast .

Simply the Best ! I have been wearing the 990's series since the early 90's. Enough said. Go buy a pair or two you will not be disappointed.

Great shoe. Great quality. However, I am unsatisfied with online ordering. 10% coupon was offered if I sign up my email. I may have save $18.00. After signing up my email, they tell me that the coupon doesn't apply for the 990v5. The very next day and everyday since, I receive 30 spam mail to my inbox. Thanks for selling my email. (Sarcasm)

I'm a large person who needs lots of support and stability. This shoe did not work for me.

Things I like: made in the USA in a width that fits my foot. What I don't like is the price.

These shoes while expensive offer the best support and are extremely comfortable. I would like to see the colour choices upgraded to more lighter colours. Great support for those of us with plantar fasciitis issues. Highly recommend these shoes.
