NB shoes with extra wide feet are best for my feet. Though the shoes are comfortable, they are a little heavy. I believe there are better comfortable shoes than NB and a little less expensive too but they are little narrow and hence I went for NB

I have some nerve damage in my back that affects my foot. I heard these shoes were incredibly comfortable. I purchased them and they are indeed great shoes, but I have had other shoes that were just as comfortable for $50 cheaper. I'll be getting more affordable shoes in the future.

I've always worn Nike airmax but i recently discovered the 990 new balance and OMG! These are the absolute best, I thought it was all hype but it was all truth!

I have a problem finding anything wide enough to even be comfortable. These are the best thing ive found in years.

These shoes have support like no other for my 53 year old feet! I now experience foot pain on the bottom of my feet and these are the best shoes I have found! The 990's to clarify. The lower priced New Balances do not offer the same support. These shoes are pricey but worth it for the comfort. They are made in USA and that makes me feel better about the price. I have a pair of v4 and now a new pair of v5. My only complaint with the v4 is the dark blue suede trim fades to a dirty brownish blue color. I'm hoping the v5's (blue also) will hold up better, but it's not a huge deal. The feel is the important part.

They are my every day shoe. I wish they were made in more fun colors.

Love my shoes. Take a XXwide and so ordered a 2E, not knowing NB's 2E is really XXXX wide. On pro side, Anazon issued refund immediately but needed to wait another 2 weeks for correct pair.

I use these sneakers on a daily basis, the looks, the feel, and the comfort are unmatched by any imported junk ..... Proudly made in the USA and it definitely shows!!

Great support and very durable. I have been wearing this model series (994,990...) for ~30 years. That's right ~30. From jogging for personal reasons, work related (including with a dignitary here and there in protection services and multiple years on tactical teams) and to maintain health after retiring. Wogging mostly after retirement (my term for mixed walking and jogging, an age and low center of gravity thing).

When I could go to my local New Balance store, they would give me a 10% discount because I have been buying NB for 20 years. But online, I am offered no incentive to continue buying NB.

I love quality of the 990v5 but the cut on the newest version is narrower than all the versions of the 990 I have purchased for years. I orderd and received a 6e but the cut is much narrower than all the others. I'm hoping they will stretch as I wear them.

Ordered the vegan 11.5 and they were too big - sent them back no problem. Ordered the black/silver 11's - too small in length, returned to the store and tried the 11 wide in black, fit great! Went home an ordered 11 wide in black/silver and a pair of More v3 in silver/white - I have the More v3 in black/white size 11 that I use for work so I wanted a pair for home and running. The More v3 arrived first and they're too short! I think the sizing is in consistent cuz my black/white More v3's fit great, especially in the toe box. Then I got the black/silver 990 v5's. Again, the sizing seems inconsistent. The all black pair I tried in the store fit like a glove, but these are a bit long in length, but not enough to send back. They actually feel real comfortable Solid construction, quality materials, real nice foot bed. The tongue tho, it slips toward the front of the shoe with walking. I managed to rig it by using the the 2nd to last shoe lace hole to pull the tongue up so that it stays in place. Thankfully the laces are extra long so that this is possible. Overall I'm stoked. I expect these shoes to last a long time - definitely an everyday shoe. And New Balance has been great. I've ordered and returned several pairs of shoes in the process and had no issues. My collection includes 880 V10, More v3, and 990 v5. Muy Bien! Gracias!

Except for one thing, there is no laces loop on the shoe's tongue to keep it in place; bit of disappointment for a shoe that costs that much.

Personal favorite. Always buy this one when in need of a new pair

Really like the shoe but it is too expensive to buy again. Will probably go back to Brooks because of the price.

Use these shoes daily. They are very comfortable. Only snag is they wear pretty fast.

Love it in wide,there are a few other shoes I would buy ,made in usa, but they don't come in wide.

Love the shoes, nice looking and very comfortable for walking. The only thing is that the size is not fitting my feet and I can feel plenty room in the shoes that my feet can move. Despite this, I would still recommend to purchase this sneaker if you want to have a comfortable one for outdoor walking. Just remember to select half size down to your true size.

Very attractive, comfortable and super supportive.

This is my fifth pair of the USA 990v5, they are comfortable and they look good!
