Customer Reviews New Balance Made in US 990v5

I am pleased to say that my new 990v5's are of the same or better quality as all the previous ones I have purchased over the past 20 years!

This is my 3rd pair and over the years I have come to appreciate the reliability of fit and comfort as well as durability. Only a few shoes come in the extra width I need, so I rely on this model.

These are the best New Balance I have owned. Great comfort and support. I have very troublesome feet and rely on these shoes.

These shoes are pricey, especially to a cheapskate like me, but this is my fourth pair. I use them for walking on asphalt three miles per day and they give good support and comfort. They are true to size and I will always own a pair.

This is a great sneaker. Very comfortable and stylish. AND MADE IN THE USA WITH US EMPLOYEES!! BUY AMERICAN!!!

They make my wife happy that I am wearing un scuffed shoes when we go out to dinner. There just as comfortable as the scuffed made in the USA shoes I would have worn. But whatever my wife wants she will nag me until she gets it's her way.

They have corrected the "posture" of my feet and relieved pain due to a side to side imbalance. I feel so balanced in them. New balance is not just a slogan.

I ordered these sneakers after trying some other brands. These have a great fit for my wide feet, and feel very comfortable to wear. I most likely will be buying another pair in a couple of months. The wide was true to what was expected.

These shoes give me the room and support I needed. My feet and ankles hurt a lot less with these 990s.

Recently bought these in black for my partner he loved them so much he then bought these in a second color. He said they are the most comfortable tennis shoes he has ever worn. Support was important for us to have in a show for him and these provide it. He said they are ideal for long distance driving and standing all day on a boat fishing. We love that is offers a wide (2e). Spend the extra dollars and get these shoes - well worth it.

I continue to enjoy this product, especially for an individual with back problems. A very stable foundation for extended walking and all day wear. Excellent sneaker!

Fits well, great grip and has put up with abuse, love the show

I think these USA made shoes (at least my first pair) run a half size smaller and a little narrower. 12 reg to 12.5 W. I will definitely buy another pair. They look like they will last longer then other shoes plus made in the US. They are really comfortable and have earned New Balance the great reputation they deserve.

I use my 990v5 shoes for walking around the neighborhood. They are very comfortable. I have two pairs.

The new balance 990v5 has made me nothing but satisfied, I have worn it with jeans, sweatpants, and even khakis and it never looks out of place. That on top of the fact that it is the most comfortable sneaker I have ever worn, I could not recommend it more.

This new balance sneaker is perfect when it comes to style and comfort. The only thing about this particular model is I would size down 1/2 size. I wear size 10 in every other brand even other new balance models but this one fit too big.

I am in my 60's and was looking for a pair of good if not great sneakers. After much research on the internet, I decided to order a pair of 990V3. Definitely did not regret my decision. These sneakers looks great, have a superb fit and infinitely comfortable to wear for hours on end unlike other brands of sneakers I owned. The 990V3 is rather pricey but the fit and comfort makes them a worthwhile buy.

Always a good fit. Always meeting my demands. Always justifying 20+ years of satisfaction.
