This is my third pair of 990's, I primarily used for them for leisure than when they become a bit worn I use them as a work shoe, they are comfortable and wear well. I wear a size 14 XW

I've purchased 990s since 2012. Maybe before? I'm an occupational therapist who works with special needs children. I'm up and down all day. I wear these shoes on most of the days. Good support and stability. Comfortable and breathable. Assists feet in stepping forward when walking.

After buying many pairs of ill-fitting shoes, I believe this is the correct size and look for me. Attractive, but a bit dated in appearance and just exactly what I was looking for.

I owned the 990v3 and v4 and these feel just as good to me. There was a comment or two about how they did away with the loop on the tongue to keep your laces up but it's the exact same as the v4. I've attached a pic for people (it wasn't obvious to me at first either). And it does take a little to feed the lace through there, but it works. Otherwise, when I first put them on, the left foot felt a little snug (it's bigger than the right foot). But after I wore them around the house for an hour they were great.

I like these shoes so much I’m thinking about ordering another pair just so I will have new ones to wear in a few months. I now have 4 pair New Balance shoes (light gray, navy -2 pair ) and my new favorites black!

I primarily use the 990 for walking, but also use it with jeans and casual wear. It is very stylish and by far the most comfortable walking/everyday shoe that I have owned. The 990 is reasonably priced and made in the USA. I only wish that I bought the gray pair also.

I wear the 990 series shoe and have been for the past 20 years or so. I usually buy 3 pairs at a time and keep 2 in the closet for later wear. I have wide feet so finding a shoe company that offers widths is a real plus.

990s have been my favorite for many years. Only weakness; after about 6 months of wear, the webbing at the toe begins to tear/gap.

I have a long narrow foot........you are the only company that manufactures a narrow athletic shoe.....
My bare footprint (wet foot, dry floor) is an oval........
Each year I purchase a new pair.......my foot destroys the shoe.......
Please keep making these narrow shoes......

This is my 10th pair of NB top of the line shoes and I've never been disappointed. I have a very wide foot and these are the only shoes that feel comfortable as soon as you put them on.

I use the 990v5 shoes as daily walkers. I am 81 and walk on average 3.5 to 4.5 miles daily. These shoes are comfortable and supportive. This my 3rd pair and will be my next! Delivery was as promised and free. I recommend these made in America shoes over any others
