Recently hit 995 miles walked in my 990's, the are bald and need to be replaced soon but they look brand new otherwise! Held up great!

On my feet all day!! Cement floors, I've had tendons stress, flat feet and over pronation.

I wear them all the time work and play. Walking running, and especially playing golf .

Easily the most comfortable shoe I've worn! Boost and React honestly don't compare to this, which really surprised me cause i love react, but this is far superior

This is probably my 7th of 8th pair of the 900 series running shoes. Right now, most of my running is indoors on a treadmill 3-4 miles at a time. While the fit and comfort of the shoes are great, I'm somewhat concerned about the durability of the soles. Maybe the compound is too soft. After each run, there is a layer of black dust on the floor and the heels of the shoes are already showing wear after less than 15 miles on the treadmill. I'll have to see how long this pair lasts.

I bought these in November of last year. I had an ankle replacement so I bought the best New Balance offers. The soles are coming apart now and I have only used 3 months. The company doesn't stand behind there product. I payed almost $200 for them. Really disappointed!!! I was advised by my podiatrist to purchase these shoes. I will let them know not to recommend them to any other patients.

I have been using it for years because of the EX-width and the support. the best supportive and wide shoes 2 times buy and return the 990v 4E because they fit me tight I had to find and buy another brand Hope QC and Principals see this and do something about it REGARDS

Just a everyday sneaker the build quality is unmatched. Runs big and didn't realize until after wearing a few time so now im stick with bigger ones

Great shoe for all purposes. Can workout in them, can do long walks, can even use them as hype fashion shoes to work or out on the town. Little weird these run so big in toe box I had to half size down. I am. 4E wide and still had to half size down for perfect fit. I like loose but not that loose fitting. I just wish I discovered these shoes earlier to have picked up more color ways.

I love these shoes! I started wearing these shoes in 1993 as a senior Sargent in the U S Army, i wear a 16 6e , high arch. In the Army we ran five days a week, and the pain in my knees subsided after wearing these shoes.

I bought these shoes while waiting for my regular NB running shoes to be returned via a lost baggage debacle. This generation of 990 is very comfortable and the construction feels solid. Made in USA still matters.

I have worn this shoe for almost 30 years. It was difficult to find the shoe in my size in a store. I was very grateful that New Balance could ship it to me.

I use my 990v5 as a walking shoe. Extremely comfortable. I like the idea that they are USA made. I've had my previous pair for about 2 years and they are still good, although they need a little cleaning.

I walk 5 miles a day, most comfortable shoe that i own. You can feel the quality in this shoe, must likely because it's made in the USA
