I jog, and these shoes fit very well and support well.

I just recently got these and wore them Once. So supportive. I need to break them in more, but you definitely feel the support right away. Great shoe, great feel, great looks!

Really nice silhouette, also incredibly comfortable shoe. Before I wore 990s I was a huge fan of Adidas' Ultra Boost and this shoe makes me want to get rid of all the pairs I have. Picture doesn't do the colorway justice. Just a super nice shoe, great comfort and great quality.

I like this shoe. It's very stylish, and grey fits with everything in my wardrobe. The quality of the shoe CANNOT be beaten, I will stand by that. The materials are very premium, and I love the attention that New Balance has put in regarding suede placement, shoe laces, etc. I will say I wanted to like this shoe more, but I have some gripes; the mesh it's purely aesthetic. From my experience, it does not make the shoe more breathable, as there is a somewhat thick inner liner that surrounds the whole inside if the shoe regardless of mesh/suede placement. That being said, it is a warm shoe; not a lot of breathability. Second, it is a little heavy and can be stiff as well. If you can look beyond those two, then you will love this shoe. I know I do. Also one little not on the fit; all NB MiUSA models fit me a half size large; I am a 13 in the 1080v10 but a 12.5 in the 990v5.

These are great, I got both 12.5 D and 12 E because I wasn't sure how they would fit, I wear a size 12 Boot. Sent the 12E back because were too short, the 12.5 D fit perfect. They are extremely well made and VERY comfortable, like walking on air. Worth every penny.

Well made comfortable work shoes for me. I wear them everyday. It's been 2 years since my last pair purchased. Still using the old pair but just for yard work.

Finally found a shoe that works for me. Gave it 4 stars because it's a little heavy.

This is without a doubt the worst version of the 990. It's stiffer, less quality made, and absolutely hideous compared to previous models. The V5 is an absolute misstep in every way. You're better off buying the V4 or V3.

I love the support this shoe gives my foot. Very comfortable.

The 990v5 looks good and the construction is very neat--there is no excess glue that oozed out of the outsole and there aren't little gobs or streaks on the uppers as well. The shoe really holds my foot in proper position and is quite comfortable. The laces could be longer is my only quibble.

Based on my podiatrist's recommendation (insistence) I've been wearing 990s for years. I wear them to work, to events, with suits and walking the dog. these are my daily-wear-shoes. I always get nervous when NB changes the 990s and releases a new version of the shoe ... I get nervous, but I'm never disappointed and version 5 is no exception. They feel and fit as I've come to expect NB 990s to feel and fit. They are great shoes and I'm very happy with my purchase.

It's everything Zi expected; I wear them as casual shoes. But, how do you apply your award points - I could determine this.

There not many shoes in a 6E Width, Size 9 1/2. These shoes are lightweight with support. Felt great and look good.

Great Shoes. They give me a lot of support. Everyday my goal is to get my 10,000 steps in my New Balance 990's.

These are good shoes. Even with my feet being a mess. Hard to find size 15

I use these as every day walk around shoes. They are extremely supportive of my knees and ba k.

I always get a little nervous when New Balance changes the 990's. I've been wearing them for years as my everyday shoes (podiatrist recommendation). But there's nothing to worry about with the 990v5. They are great. They feel great. They fit great. Style-wise, they are slightly different than the other versions ... But they fit very well, they fit the SAME as the other versions ... and that's the main thing I care about.

Worn the 99x since they surfaced, and have to say these fall shorteven when compared to the v4. Harder sole, and the mesh on mine are tearing after light use. Still love New Balance but these are a letdown. Here's to the V6!
