The
Max lite line is inexpensive and light. But it looks like it will not stand up to frequent use. The frame is not reinforced and the wheels are small. I am returning the Maxlite for a Platinum Elite. If you can find a luggage store, see them in person before you buy.

I have an older TP the same size. It only has two wheels so I wanted to upgrade. My old luggage is made better. The interior lining is more substantial and has more pockets. I will still probably purchase an under the seat piece but will check carefully the options.

Way too small for what I neededI returned it. Also wheels felt a bit flimsy. Could work fine for a weekend or supplementary suitcase.

Seems okay, the handle is flimsy and wobbles when extended. Th wheels could be beefed up some more.

Fails to stay standing when paired with a backpack on the top of the luggage. Perhaps it would need a wider wheel base for better balance. Other than that, great bag.

The smell of this product is unacceptable when unpacked. I have had the two bags I purchased open to fresh air for three weeks, and still would not pack clothes in them. Feel like I should get at least a 50% discount off both suitcases, since I have seen this feedback before and nothing has obviously been done about it.

I bought two new Maxlite bags to replace two that had many, many miles on them. The weight and manuverability of the new bags is great, though they have not yet been "road tested". The only problem is their smell: like slightly spoiled milk. I have been airing them out for several weeks and the smell persists. It won't affect the bag's functionality, but it is unpleasant.

It is not the same color as the smaller max lie bag I purchased last year. I bought it ti match. Good spinner, but disappointed with the color.

I have a carry on purchased 2 years ago with similar measurements and mine holds so much more than this one. Love Travelpro but not this suitcase. I ordered 3.from Travelpro and various other stores with the same results. Will probably end up sending this one back also.

Great bag. It gets an okay because of the unbelievably strong chemical smell which seems to be the waterproofing. Have had it for over a month and the smell has receded somewhat but is still very noticeable.

Bag was well designed and appeared to be well built. Unfortunately there was an odor inside the bag that after 10 days of being open and treating with baking soda, alcohol and water the smell would not go away.
Unfortunately we needed to return the bag. Travel pro customer service was most helpful. We have several TravelPro bags that we still use and like them very much.

This suitcase is very light, so light it doesn't feel sturdy. It's rated well, is more expensive than other brands in its size category, so I hope it will hold up. And if it doesn't I hope I know that within a year.
It seems smaller than other suitcases in its size category but it holds a LOT of stuff. I was able to pack for an 8-day trip, including extra shoes and toiletries in this carry-on. It fit well within the size restrictions. It could stand to have a bit more organizational components in side.

I was going to replace my Samsonite with this lighter one. However, it's width is only 12-13 inches long, not 14 as described. The capacity is a lot less than I expected. I had to return it. The return went smoothly.

I'm disappointed in this model. It rolls very smooth and is super lightweight, but when you pack the suitcase, the outer pockets become useless. Maybe it's to ensure the size stays suitable for carry-on requirements, but you can't fit anything that's not flat in the outer pockets like for example a round brush or bottle of sunscreen. I would be worried to put a laptop in the laptop compartment bc the space is so tight. The expandable zipper design doesn't quite give it enough room/flexibility. I loved my old TravelPro that I've had for ten years, the expandable part looks to be a different design. It fit all carryon requirements, but I was able to pack more with ease in that one. This one and a smaller model I bought (and can't return bc only 30 day return policy?!) just aren't as useful. I'm sure the quality will hold up, but it's going to be a struggle to pack these. The 30 day return policy is really tight considering most of us are in the travel industry and can't get home in time to return something after that short amount of time. Or even test it out long enough to see if it works.

I have the soft-sided 21" Travel Pro that I used for many years as a flight attendant. The reason I wanted the new one was because of the 4 wheels, but even with the expandable feature of the hard-sided bag I could get many more items in my old bag.

Was a bit smaller than expected. But a Great downsize for my Flight Attendant use. Especially on the smaller Regional Planes I work on. Thanks Travel Pro!

Light and rolls very smoothly. It is however smaller than what I expected. Will be returning it for a different Travelpro product.

Good for a quick out and back. For someone who is traveling by air three days a week, I find the bag not rugged enough. Wheels and zippers do not hold up after moderate use. I would recommend for the casuual traveler, but not the active traveller.

I'm a long-time TravelPro suitcase owner. The products are very high quality. I am a little person and I also use bags that let you pack two-three times more into a suitcase. So, I was very glad that TravelPro made this new lightweight spinner suitcase. However, and it's a big "however": the "expandable" is barefly a half-inch, compared to other TravelPro bags. There is a lot less room in this suitcase than my other 21" suitcases. So, I am disappointed.

The wheels are awful. I almost tripped multiple times because they snag on any uneven surface. This is only after my first trip and I am regretting it
