The suitcase had two bright-shiny machine screws on top of the suitcase. These made the bag look tacky and cheap!

Zippers are flimsier than the old maxlite. Interior pocket on the outside is now integrated into the front of the case.

The entire box - the suitcase, plastic around it, and the box itself absolutely STANK with a chemical smell. I tried airing it out and putting a box of baking soda in it for days and nights on end. I emailed a request for help from customer service, but you couldn't bother getting back to me. It's a real shame - it seems like a pretty good case otherwise.

This is an OK product but compared to a similarly priced and sized Samsonite product, there is one fundamental difference. This one doesn't extend as much because the chain that you open to expand the bag doesn't go all around so when you open the chain, the bag kind of becomes lopsided - extended at the bottom but not extended at the top. Because of no full chain opening around, you can not pack in as much as other similar-sized bags.

I'd bought this bag after TravelPro had been recommended and highly-praised by Wirecutter (NY Times). However, I'm baffled by the logic behind the design of this. It's smaller than other carry-ons I've had in the past. Good industrial design should be utilizing the entire carry-on space allotted, which this doesn't appear to do. For example, what's with the tapered expansion? Why wouldn't you expand as much space as you can? It will still be within capacity limits. TravelPro says this is to keep the luggage from tipping over. Basic geometry would show that a rectangular profile will stand just as good as a trapezoid. Sorry I'm nerding out on this, but the designers need to get the feedback. I ultimately returned this and bought a roomier carry-on from another company that better suit by needs. Thanks for the trial!

The design of this bag compares unfavorably to other TravelPro bags ive had over twenty years. The handle is flimsy as is the fabric and the wheels. The bag might be fine for someone who travels twice a year, but that's about it. Such poor quality.

So difficult to pull. The wheel design makes it so you have to tip the bag to pull. Makes it a chore to pull through the airport

The older versions expanded all the way around or not, was under traveler control. Now only the bottom expands - not good. Also, older versions had soft handle on the bottom of the case which was great for taking bag off luggage arrival belt. This has a hard plastic flap.

As business traveler who travels every week, i need a suitcase that was durable, professional and supported by the manufacturer. I was WRONG about selecting Travel pro. The telescoping handle broke in 2007. I immediatley contacted them for repair. I was told that they didn't have handles at the current time but i would be put on a list to get a new handle. THAT WAS IN 2007!!!! i have been waiting 15 YEARS for the company to stand by its product. Don't let them fool you into thinking the support their customers, they do not. I wish I had purchased a Briggs & Riley like my co-workers, they are not having to arrive to client meetings carrying the business suits in trash bags!!!!!
