We've had TravelPro for years and I was worried this one wouldn't be as big as our old one but it is almost the same. I love everything except direction of handle., Carrying with knuckles forward is kinda awkward.

I like everything about this suitcase except maybe all should be spinners.

I LOVE how light weight this suitcase is. It's so expandable too! I loaded it full and could still easily get it in the overhead bin on the aircraft. The only downside was no clip to attach my gadget bag. Putting a bag on the handle took away the light weight feature and hurt my shoulder. Still a fantastic bag!!

This bag is definitely light. I've used Travelpro carryons for years and they are tough! I like the outside pockets and smooth wheels. Others have Mentioned the handle doesn't move smoothly and that is true, but not horrible. My only objection is the lack of clip for a "piggy back" strap. Hope they fix this - life is much easier when you add another bag and pull them both together.

This suitcase seems well-made and durable, but the chemical smell was so brutal I couldn't be in the same room as it. If you're sensitive to off-gassing plastic smells, it's probably not suitable. I had to return it unfortunately.

Too much space is lost due to spinner wheels and especially to the contour which my previous 23 inch did not have and always fit in overhead space.

I have the 25" version and love it. This bag disappointed. The weight is great and as expected. However I didn't realize it only had 2 wheels. This bag would be much improved if it had 4 wheels,

It's a bit smaller than what I expected. The other carry on bag I have from travelpro is slightly bigger and a better carry on. I was very disappointed and will be looking for a different brand.

Not a 5 star review bc the wheels do. Or rotate 360 around which makes for not easy movement traveling and in busy airports
Wish I had read that before purchasing

i purchased the Maxlite 5 22" carry-on to replace an old extremely heavy carry-on that i couldn't lift up anymore. The Maxlite is smaller and what they call expandable only expands partially on the bottom, so doesn't really offer much extra space. Handle feels a little flimsy. All that aside, the light weight was the deciding factor in keeping this. I would have purchased the Elite except it has leather trim and there was no vegan option.

Love Maxlite and love TravelPro. Not convinced that the 2 wheeler is really much bigger (my desire) than the 4 wheeler (which is easier to navigate)..and am not loving the material of the roll aboard handle (a little rough on the hand).

It is really not expandable much. Not enough pockets/compartments for organizing. Wish it have the design of the crew's line that have a hook which can attached a tote.
It is light weight and the handle handling is very smooth .

The handle is far too flimsy for my type of traveling. Suspect it would not last long without breaking.

I ordered this suitcase because I was trying to get the maximum amount of space in a carry on. Unfortunately, the very first trip I took this suitcase on I had to check it because I was traveling with two young kids and need my hands free. When I picked it up from baggage claim it had a nice size rip that I could stick my fingers through, so not the most durable bag.

I was disappointed that the expansion part was only partial, and the plastic smell was so strong I couldn't take it on my trip. Even after airing it out for a week.

I have another Travel Pro product that I really like and thought I would like the Maxlite carryon. I made one round trip on a commercial airline, never checking it. When I got home the rub protector on the bottom had almost come off already.

I thought I was getting the 4 wheels, but it just has the 2. I have a Travelpro, that I have had for several years with the 2 wheels and it is still in perfect condition.

iI THOUGHT IT WOULD BE THE SAME SIZE AS THE 2 WHEEL CARRY ON. I'M DISAPPOINTED THAT IT IS MUCH SMALLER

My previous TravelPro rollaboard had the expandable section in the lid, making the suitcase much more versatile. This new one only increases the main suitcase volume by a hair, and by making the expandable section part of the main compartment it means the lid will never lay flat-making packing and unpacking more difficult. Sadly, I am not as satisfied with this case as much as I am with my previous two purchases.

This was a little smaller than I'd envisioned (my fault). But I would've returned it anyway and spent a little more for a higher quality Travelpro. I have one of their first Maxlites that is probably 10-12 years old. Rugged, durable, and still going strong. Apparently this line is more affordable, but not as high of quality.

This might be my perfect suitcase if it had spinning wheels. It has the design I look for: an outside pocket for my jacket, a large pocket on the inside of the lid, and the right size for a long trip. Light weight. Just need wheels that spin. Packed for a 7 week trip it weighed 25 pounds at check-in.

My first trip with this bag. Many problems extending extension and also release to put back into suitcase. The bag is approximately 2/3 full of light weight items. Airline scales said 19lbs so over weight is not the problem. Very disappointed in this handle. It should be smooth operation. It's anything but smooth.

I didn't like the roller board too much. It doesn't have any dividers or space thank you.
