The width is much less than stated in the description. I returned the piece since it was smaller than I expected. Love my older piece which is 21x14.5. This new one was only 21x13

Returned the suitcase after opening. Expected quality built in suiter and it was so cheaply made. Not like my other Travelpro suitcases. Flimsy construction on the inside. The outside wheels & retractable handles were good but inside was a HUGE disappointment.

Quite disappointed in this bag and Travelpro. Partly my fault, when looking at the heading I read the 21" size. I didn't go in the detailed description which would have told me that the height was actually 23.5" when you include the wheels. In my experience every other company includes the wheels in the height measurement. I want to use this for both domestic and international travel so I will be returning. So please be aware that 21" relates only to the inside compartment measurement. If you don't care about the measurements it does seem like a decent piece of luggage with a good handle, roomy pockets, and smooth wheels.

This is frustrating. This bag is 95% perfect, but the 5% that isn't makes it unacceptable. The knobby handle, made to be comfortable on the hand, will not fit through the sleeves of many other items, like the two different airport dog carriers we use. How could such a nice bag have such a major design flaw? I regret having to return the bag, but this is useless to me at this point.

The color was not a navy color I envisioned. Very disappointing because I really wanted the luggage.

Bag is much smaller than comparable bags in its class. Don't be fooled by the dimensions -- space is taken up by unexpected intrusions from mechanical systems, pouches, etc.

I did not like the design of the bag. The garment bag insert was useless and took too much space. The external zipper compartments were too small. The bag was a bit small for a 2 week trip and the next size up was too big. Those disadvantages, along with the high price made it undesirable. The other bag we used for our trip was much cheaper and the capacity and design were better. The one thing I liked about the bag was the 8 wheels.

The extendable handle is sturdy, but it takes up a lot of space inside the suitcase. The wheels glide easily on floors and I like that they can be replaced if broken, but on uneven surfaces I have to put the case on its side to prevent it from rolling away. I would suggest maybe adding brakes on at least two of the wheels. The term "expandable" is somewhat misleading. There is a zipper that allows the bottom to expand a bit, but not much. Perhaps some people pack more formal clothes, but I will probably never use the included garment bag-it takes up too much precious space. The zippers seem heavy duty and will hopefully last a long time. The two zippered pockets on the top/lid are too small to be very useful. I was able to fit a small paperback book in the larger pocket. The zippered bags inside that clip together to hold things in place are good in theory, but they can't be removed. On a recent trip they were mostly in the way. The nylon fabric exterior seems durable. I got the blue one with brown/tan trim. It looks nice and is more easily identifiable on the luggage carousel. For the price, I'm a bit disappointed.

The bag is great. Unfortunately, when we returned from using it the first time, we found it had bleached our carpet where we'd left it overnight before we left on our trip.

Doesn't roll well I find the wheels are not wide enough. Especially over all the bumps in an airport. It tips while rolling especially with a tote on top. The quality is great it just did not work well for me. Will be returning bag.

The advertisement says 21 inch. You should actually put 23 1/2 inches in bold print not in fine print. Air Canada would not except it into the overhead compartment so I had to check it.

Much smaller than expected, not on par with other 21" models due to design. Disappointing but that's what you get buying online without being able to see it.

Initially we loved it - until we actually traveled with it. First trip, got home and one of the zippers on it was missing. That was very alarming considering the amount of money we paid for it. We were shocked since we'd never had this happen with luggage we'd bought in the past that was a fraction of the cost. Thankful for the warranty at least

I own several bags from Travelpro but admittedly they're all a few years old. When I needed a new carry on, it was a no brainer to invest in another bag from Travelpro because of the quality. This bag feels bulky and the hardware feels synthetic. The color of the hardware on the black bag is a tacky eye sore because of shiny and thick the metal part of the zipper is. It came with a ton of extras (ie garment bag) but the capacity inside isn't even big to begin with so not sure how you'd even use it all. Also the overall weight of the bag feels so heavy compared to my other carry on from Travelpro. What happened to the quality? The only part I really love are the wheels. Everything else is a pass for me.

I bought this set 2 years ago and it's already falling apart. Outside zippers broken, splitting at handle and hardly ever used! Stick with Samsonite luggage!

Wheels are difficult to roll and unstable over thresholds of doors and over irregular surfaces like cobble stones and pavers. I'll be returning mine.
