This show in the ladies size was way too narrow for my foot. I finally ordered the same style in a men's size and found the men's medium width fit my foot better. This is a very nice looking casual shoe. The sole has great sticky traction for stability. I'm happy to have finally found the correct size and pleasing style. Thanks Zappos for the awesome customer support.

This is a good looking shoe and the quality of the construction seems good. But the fit just does not work for me. The length is about right (maybe a little tight, but not unacceptable), but the toe box is much too narrow and the overall volume of the shoe is too small. Loosening the laces helped some, but not near enough to make them comfortable.

I was pretty close to returning these - they seemed to be on the narrow side, and there was some over-support in my left arch. I quickly realized it was the sole insert, which is fairly rigid, particularly in the arch area. I replaced the insert with a different one that isn't so rigid and after a half a day wearing them around the house, then going for a mile walk, these shoes feel great! I love the way the look and the outer sole seems perfectly designed for walking/light hikes. Would recommend, as long as you replace the sole insert.

Great looking shoe - but it was too tight. Otherwise said, these run narrow which I have since learned is a Danner trait.

Shoe is very comfortable light weight and would be a great hiking shoe if it weren’t for the slippery soles. I am an avid hiker and love the comfort of these shoes but the soles are not safe in the slightest bit of moisture. I therefore will only wear in dry conditions. Would not buy again.

Not a very rugged shoe. Ok for wearing around town but not trail worthy.

These shoes look great, but are definitely too narrow. My feet measure as a standard men's size 9D, but when I tried them on in a store, the 9 was too short, and they didn't have a 9.5. So I ordered a 9.5 pair from Zappos, and while the length was good, they were too narrow. Very snug in the width, and it seemed like the soles were a bit too narrow as well--my feet pronated inward while walking in them. Zappos doesn't carry a wide width, so I'm heading over to Amazon to try again there.

Comfortable shoe, very disappointed in Danner, sole on heel has seperated after 4.5 months of wear.

I really tried to give these shoes a fair chance because I love their boots and they held up longer than any of my other shoes but after 3 weeks of wearing them they are still pinching my feet like its no ones business. These shoes are way to narrow. I don't have wide feet but they just don't fit. The arch support is pretty off too but I suppose that could just be due to how narrow they are.
