I bought this shoe in winter. Like the stile. They are comfortable. I wear size 9, but I would go 1/2 size up on this one. Only issue is the sole degradation by heel. I do walk a lot (7 miles daily average) but still strange for a show that is only 5-6 months old.

Second pair I have purchased. I am hooked on these. Great for trails and everyday use. Light and comfortable and no break-in required!

There was a hard plastic collar around the shoe top, connected to the tongue and it stuck out painfully against the foot. I’m disappointed with Zappos shipping lately, I haven’t been getting my shipments, it’s been taking for five days even a week! I wish somebody would fix this.

Great walking shoes! Very comfortable, fit well, and appear to be very high quality. Walk my dog a couple of times per day, through all kinds of weather. Definitely keeps out water. The only thing I don’t like is the laces tend to come untied — unless I “double knot them”.

I bought these shoes in size 11. 5 and 12 and unfortunately had to return them because they were too narrow. I bought 11.5 wide (EE) directly from Danner and they fit perfectly. I only wish Zappos caried these shoes in wide.

2nd pair of Danner Trail 2650. Comfy shoes, light weight. I use an insert in all my shoes. Fits well and true to size.

I wear a Nike 12, but went with 11.5. Really like the shoe.

I read a lot of the other reviews and was nervous about ordering them after comments about them being narrow. Let me say, at least in my opinion that theyvare not narrow and they look great, feel great and are super comfortable and I can tell they are very well made.

Fit and size are perfect. Very comfortable. Great for walking. Would recommend the Danner Trail 2650 to anyone!

The shoe is narrower than expected. Will try wider size.

Shoes were nice but way too narrow for normal width. I have three other pairs of Danner boots that are all normal width but these definitely run narrow so much so that I had to return them sadly.

I use these for mountain biking. Work great for both hiking and biking.

Great for my dog walks and light trail use, I would recommend to a friend. I will be buying a second pair.

Before my trip to Zion, Sedona and Grand Canyon trails I tried on Merrell Moab 3 (felt comfortable but felt unstable, too much arch support), Altra Timp 5 (maybe it's just me but I couldn't walk straight in them), and Topo MTN 4 (loved these, until I felt horrible extensor tendon pain a day later - it's the aggressve arch support). Everyone's foot is different so someone else might feel the opposite issues. But for me, I wanted a shoe that I could feel I could walk fast in - and the Danner 2650 was the fastest shoe for me - almost as fast as my regular running shoe. For going uphill on trails this translates to a more energy-conserving stride. I also tried the newer Danner N45, which is supposed to be more cushioned, and, instead, these 2650s are definitely more cozy and cushioned, and feet feel solid to the ground. I am not totally thrilled with the color combination - I had hoped for a more black vs charcoal suede look, but I don't hate it either. They do fit true to size, even though I thought I needed a half a size larger than my actual size, but I opened up the laces and prefer my actual size over the half size larger. The only thing is that they don't offer ankle support, so if you are prone to twisting your ankle at times, consider something else, like a boot or short boot - I mention this because I at times twist my ankle but I would train my stride than get a boot. If speed and agility or want to walk back up the steep Grand Canyon trails in the least sluggish way possible, then this is your shoe.

Perfect shoe for this female. Best fit ever. I am tall with narrow feet and Morton's toes. Shoe is perfect shape to accommodate the long toes. I wore right out of box on a wet trail in the Smokies Great comfort and traction.

really feels like I am getting support AND good traction. so far not on a trail just roads and paths but I think these will be great trail shoes as ell

My husband ordered these shortly before a recent trip to Europe. They fit well and were true to size. He said they were comfortable right out of the box, and his feet didn't complain even after many hours of walking, day after day.
