Because of tennis I needed a daily comfortable shoe away from tennis for around the yard and house. Aching ankles, hips and knees were a real problem. A trail running shoe I thought might be the cure. I was thinking of softness, stability and durability. I was right. This is my 2nd pair and will buy again. Be alert...the grippy traction is real.

Comfortable right out of the box. Feet stay dry during morning walks with the dogs. Well made and sizing is great. I can usually count on shied being too tight in the toe box but not these.

Very comfortable fit but would like more room below inner footbed for supplementary arch support. Lacing excellent; stays tied.

fit is true to size, very comfortable because i have wide feet, it is not easy to fit shoes comfortably. I have not had much experience with adverse trail conditions to this point; however, good traction on sandy surfaces with great support. I did substitute the foot bed with a higher ach support because i have high arches as well.

This is hands down the best shoe I have ever worn! It is much lighter than it appears, almost an ultralight shoe. It is super comfortable. I receive multiple positive comments about its appearance. This is my second part because my son is now wearing my first pair. Like me, he loves both the look and fit. The cost is higher than I like to spend, but the benefit is even higher. Worth the price.

One of the most handsome looking trail shoes. This one is my second of three pairs I own/owned. Materials are a bit lightweight..sole material not as tough and firm as Id like. That said all around comfort and cushioning is tops. The rust brown is a favorite color. It sets it off from the all the rest of ordinary trail shoes.

Great shoe for everyday use!

I ordered the same size I normally wear, but they were way too small, so I returned them. I wanted to exchange them for a different size but the Danner web-site Return page didnt seem to allow that.

I've had these shoes for about a month now, and they've been working out well for me. I was on the fence about getting the wide width, but I'm glad I did, as I feel these tend to run a little narrow. Also, upon first inspection, it seems there's not much arch support, but overall, they're very supportive and feel great.

Fit is comfortable and aggressive on the trail. What a good combination.

Lightweight and supportive, although the arch support was too high for my flat feet so I added a heel insert under the insole which fixed the problem. A half size smaller (12.5 instead of 13) would be perfect. I really like the look of the shoe and the build quality is excellent.

My second pair. Just took them to Europe for 14days they were perfect.

The arch fit ,the heel fit ,the lace fitness is really great. I walk around 12 miles a week on a dirt path great support. A lot better than tennis shoes

I bought these as I wanted a good pair of comfortable hiking shoes. They haven't disappointed in the least. They look good, and feel good, and if they hold up like I think they will, I will be more than satisfied.

My 5th pair of Danners and these were a home run! Best fit, great sole, most comfortable!

I really love the Trail 2650's. They're extremely lightweight, look great, and comfortable right out of the box. One word of caution: These run narrow. If you have a wider foot or are on the fence, definitely opt for the EE. I ordered the EE and they fit my foot just right.
