Unlike the other reviewer, I ordered size 9 & found them to be too big. I have other Merrell shoes in size 9 & they fit very well. These are extremely comfortable so I'm just going to add inserts instead of exchanging them. I highly recommend this shoe but you may have to tweak the size.

I am very happy about My purchase. It is very comfortable and stylish at the same time. The only minor issue is with the lace. It's a bit bulky and keeps coming out. I have to double tie it every time.

Great shoe but round laces will not stay tied without double knitting. Looks nice as an alternative to athletic sneakers

I usually wear about a 10.5 and wide, but I took a chance on these and bought 10 medium. The laces let you adjust for width which is nice, and I found the 10s to be even slightly long for my foot. Very glad I sized down. They're very comfortable, and perfect if you want something you can walk for days in without it being a sneaker. If not for the extra length, I would have given them 5 stars. Love that they're recycled!

After I added another insole, the shoe fits and is divinely comfortable. I might buy another color. I love the Brindle color.

I love everything except the shoe laces. They are round, thick and very very long. I have to double knot them to keep the laces from dragging. And since they are round and fat, I have a big knot on the top of the shoes. I am looking for new laces.

The shoe fits as expected and is very breathable. No rubbing as the top of the shoe is a flexible fabric. Also very cute.

Thrilled that this is made from recycled materials. A big plus in addition to being comfortable. Wore all day, no blisters or redness. Wish it were a tad more breathable.

These are so nice and lightweight! Great to wear when traveling; don't add weight to the suitcase! Yet supportive and comfortable. Hoping I can wash them because the light grey can get dirty pretty quickly.

I love the style of this shoe but the fit and function aren't the same as my other Merrells. The heel slips which pulls down my socks. The shoe feels "clunky".....clomp, clomp, clomp when I walk.

I love the way the shoe looks. I wear a size 5 and that's what I ordered. When I walk, the heels flop. The cushioning is less than what I expected also. I still wear them but not for long days or when I'm on my feet a lot.

Not as comfortable as expected. I have many pairs of sandals and have used for this same type of trip, they are comfortable.

They are comfortable and cute. However, they stretched out significantly after a couple of weeks.

True to size, I really like the look and fit, but the arch support is all towards the inside of the foot, and not very comfortable. I think I will try to find a different insert that is more comfortable

The shoe is so cute! I love the leather detail on the back and the style/fabric of the shoe is great however I had to return the size 8 for a 7.5 but probably could go down to a 7. BTW: I always wear a size 8, so these shoes run big. The sad thing is my heel comes up when I walk.. which makes it uncomfortable. It makes my bootie-sock move downward on my heel. I would love to give these shoes a 5 star however I just can't because of that reason. I would be afraid to wear these all day on my feet, might rub a blister on my heel??

I had a dislocated hip at birth, which now contributes to my sciatica and chronic lumbar pain. Merrells have mostly been good at alleviating this discomfort (especially the Encore clog), but Gridway's sole is not thick enough--I don't like "walking on clouds," but I do need more shock absorption than these provide. Probably great shoes for someone whose body is well-aligned and just wants solid support, but not for me.

Looks good however you can feel where the heel ends and front begins. Definitely needs more padding.

Love the shoe. I slipped and broke my wrist in a light rain. Not running or walking fast. Just took a step and slipped.
