Far too narrow in the toe box. Tried these because another reviewer with wide feet mentioned they fit great, but while long enough, my toes were overlapping in the toe box—kind of like when you overlap your fingers to put on a bracelet. So uncomfortable. :-( The good news is that the Keen Voyageur Mids were *plenty* wide—the toe box is practically square—so I'll be keeping those.

I normally wear an 8.5 but saw in reviews these run small so ordered a 9 which was still too small. Plus, the left shoe had ugly cosmetic manufacturing flaws on the top and the arch support felt like it hit my heel and not my arch. Just ordered a 9.5 to see if it's any better, so we'll see.

I have sore feet and these shoes were too stiff for me. The fit was good but I just didn’t think I could be comfortable in these shoes. I do moderate hiking 2 to 3 miles, I’m looking for a lightweight comfortable walking/hiking shoe.

Unfortunately, the 11M fit like a 10.5 narrow, so I had to return them. I have 2 different styles of Merrill hiking boots, so will try another style for the day hikers.

I usually take a wide shoe but the medium ran wide so I thought would work. However the shoes slipped on my heels and would have caused blisters so I had to return. Nice looking though.

This is a good looking well-made shoe. I used to have a pair of Merrell hiking shoes that was great. I wanted to be happy with these, too. Unfortunately, the toe box was too narrow. It would be okay for walking around, but wouldn't be comfortable for hiking...must return.

These boots run smaller and narrower than the non-waterproof version. Unfortunately I’m already in a size 11 so I can’t size up.

At first, I loved this shoe. I walked inside for about 10 minutes with normal paces and suddenly had pain in the outside of the foot. It was pressing to the point I needed to take it off and, unfortunately, return. I really wanted to like them - the initial fit, the look, the price.

I bought 2 prs of Keen hiking shoes in 8.5 and 3 prs of Merrells in 8. They all fit roughly the same - pretty comfortable! This edged out the others in comfort and looks, except for 1 small detail I couldn't get past: The shoe is a very pretty deep teal, but the heel loops are a pastel aqua, at least until you wear them the first time on a dirt trail! I'm guessing on that, as I returned them.

I liked the wide toe bed but shoe seemed shorter than most and the end of my big toe was uncomfortable. This doesn't usually happen, I have very easy, size 8 regular, feet.

Quality of the shoe just not what I've been accustomed to in Merrell. Seams and fabric were messy - looks cheap.

I irdered 1/2 size larger than Nirmal and these shoes still felt a full size too small!

I loved these shoes until they developed a ridge near my 4th toe which caused my toe to blister. These shoes are rugged and perfect for days on the ranch where I wear them outside where on dirt and in fields. They were holding up beautifully and I thought they'd be good for a couple of years at least. I'm guessing that ridge was formed from the accumulation of dirt that somehow got underneath the liner. In desperation, I tore out the liner and had this wonderful relief with no more blisters. But inevitable, having ripped out the liner, my shoe is now falling apart. i want to buy the same pair again, but am afraid the same thing will happen again.

My big toes hit the front and I know i couldn’t have worn heavy hiking socks. Sorry to send back.

I really love the look and ease of lacing these shoes but they were too small and straight for my feet.

I returned them. Clunky & not comfortable. I hate those fat round laces. Plastic inside sounded like crinkling cellophane. Maybe that’s how they’re made waterproof?

This brand has made the toe box more narrow. This is not desirable in a hiking boot. I’ve tried Moab’s with the same problem. Returned both.

I'm a 5.5 and could barely fit my foot in these they run so small. Also, the footbed feels weird, like there is a bar running under the ball of my foot. So am not even going to try another size. I like the neutral color and the light weight.

I like the shoe but the crunching sound when I walked in the house was too much. I assume it is something to do with the waterproofing? Anyhow, I ordered ones that aren’t waterproof because I like the shoe.

The issue with these is the ‘crinkling’ sound they make when you walk......wore them around the house for about 10 minutes and I knew that it would drive my crazy.....Returned them..

I had this shoe in the charcoal previously. Loved it. It started to wear a bit, so I ordered another pair, in the lighter color. I can't understand how the fit could be so different. I wore the second pair off and on for a few weeks before realizing they are too wide...uncomfortable. Should have been obvious right away...maybe I thought it was my imagination since the first pair fit just right. Now it's too late to return them. My fault for discounting my own experience.

Seems like a comfortable shoe, but it was WAY too big. I ordered an 8 in order to fit my orthotics (I'm a 7.5 without them and an 8 with), and they were huge. Feels like 9 or larger!

These were too small and didn't fit my arch very well.
