I would highly recommend these shoes to people trying to strengthen their foot muscles (esp. arches) or improve their posture. The shoe's thin but protective rubber sole allows your foot to move as it would if you were barefoot. I would also recommend these shoes to those with bunions or prone to pinky toe blisters. Merrell's Vibram footbeds are wider at the toes than most other shoes on the market including Viviobarefoot and other barefoot brands. I almost always get blisters or corns on my pinky toes from other shoes, but never from these. For what it's worth, Vivos give me blisters on my heals and pinky toes, but these shoes have never given me blisters. If you are new to barefoot shoes, be sure to slowly ease into them. Start by walking only one mile per day in your new barefoot shoes for the first week. Two miles the second week and three miles the third. I recommend ensuring that you can comfortably walk three miles in your new barefoot shoes before running in them.

Exactly what I was looking for in a shoe - flexible, zero drop, enough room to move my toes, soles thin enough to feel the ground beneath me, which is all great for foot health/strength. I am normally a 7 but the 7.5 fit me better, so they run a bit small.

I have no arches and do not like wearing shoes with closed toes, BUT these have a boxy toe which doesn't irritate my feet and I can tighten the laces to give some support to my arches. These shoes are comfortable, cute and make my large feet look smaller. My son has a pair and he recommended them to me. I have a smart son!

I love Merrell shoes! They are unlike any shoes I've worn before. The Vapor Glove 4 fits like a sock, giving flexibility to your feet. I love the wide toe bed, it makes my foot feel like it can breathe. I got the purple ones, which is my favorite color! How perfect is that? I love the way they look on my feet, they are very low profile. Feels almost as though you're walking barefoot. Can't wait to order my next pair!

I'm wearing them as I write this. Sometimes I forget I have them on. Definitely buying another pair!

I go barefoot and wear zero drop shoes for health, comfort and when I cannot go barefoot.I wear them with all casual clothes. I am 75 yrs. old. These fit well and are very comfortable. Figure out how to make the soles breathable and they would be perfect. I bought two pairs as some companies stop making certain styles. So keep up the good work.

Just what I was looking for. I wear men's shoes usually, but have narrow feet, so this was a good match. Toe box is a little too wide, but it doesn't really impact the fit/comfort. Great color options (I have the teal ones).

Fabulous product!! Was thrilled to find a shoe that provides comfort and support with walking, running, and other outdoor activities! Barefoot sole is one of the best features, but the total comfort of this product is absolutely amazing!

My legs are still adjusting to the different style when running, but I really like how much I feel the surface of the ground when I climb stuff with my kids. And I especially like not wearing socks with them.

These have a great feel to them. They feel like a second skin. I love the how they feel like your walking around barefoot but your foot is protected. I wear them for many uses. Great shoes to pack for trips too, they are light weight and versatile . Whether I'm exploring a new city or want to hit the hotel gym. This allows me to pack one shoe for many uses.

What I had assumed to be normal foot pain has completely disappeared since wearing these shoes. I was not a believer in the barefoot shoe movement beforehand but I am now.

These shoes are sooo comfortable and light weight!!

I love this shoe. Please never ever change it! EVER! It does fit a bit bigger than expected, but that's surprisingly perfect. The very roomy and spacious toe box gives you the ultimate barefoot running experience. I don't tighten the laces very much, so I can basically slip the shoes on and off. It's perfect. Feels like I don't even wear shoes but my feet are well protected.

Fits snug at the heel with room for toes to spread when needed for impact and little to no cushion and a flexible sole provides for better balance and movement. My first pair of Merrill barefoot are trail runners from years ago and I thought they were perfect, but these are a dream fit. My form seems much better and lifting and activity is smoother with these to provide a foundation.

The vapor glove is the perfect trainer if you're looking to get into barefoot running. It's quick drying materials are also a plus, especially when running on trail and through rain.

I'm totally in love with this shoe. Having suffered with recurrent plantar fasciitis and having had recent surgery to repair a ruptured peroneus brevis, these were just the ticket. The flexibility is wonderful for allowing the foot to operate as nature intended and the roomy toe box provides excellent space for wiggling. If only there were something comparable to get me through cold Minnesota winters!

The Vapor Glove 4 fits like a glove! It is so lightweight that you almost don't know that you have it on. I wear these shoes for everything; workouts, running, mowing and everyday life. Please don't stop making them. Please continue to add colors.

I have searched high and low for years for comfortable footwear, for all seasons. This shoe does feel as though I am barefoot. I can keep them on all day and they do not bother my one "bad" foot. They are easy to walk in. I have many pairs of Merrell snow boots and they are like heaven also. Merrell footwear feels as though they are custom made for my feet.

I love the vapor glove. I hope they never stop making it!! This year's model seems slightly smaller than last year's, but it won't stop me from buying. It's so light on the feet, incredibly comfortable and barefoot feel s the way to go!
