My trial gloves are so comfortable yet supportive. I love the flexibility of the shoe because it makes me more confident out on the trail/hiking. I can climb, run, and even jump into puddles because they're waterproof! And my feet feel strong and flexible afterwards instead of stiff and sore. No complaints here.

These shoes feel amazing! They are very comfortable right out of the box with no break in period. Extremely happy with my purchase!

I absolutely love Merrell shoes. And Barefoot is my favorite. I am on my feet all day at work and these shoes are comfortable all day long. No pinching, squeezing, resulting in pain at the end of the day. Would recommend 100%. Lots of room and "give" for your feet.

This shoe hits on the important checkpoints for me. It has a wide toe box, built-in arch (not just an insole but the shoe itself has a molded arch) a narrow heel area and is extremely lightweight. I am really happy with it.
I'd also recommend:
Naot, Beautifeel, Clarks

I've been wearing trail gloves for all of my running and hiking for at least 5 years. I'm an ultra runner and a thru hiker, so I spend a ton of time on the trails. These are my go-to shoes. Perfect balance of barefoot flexibility and the slight cushion I need for a 20-mile or more run. I wore them when I thru-hiked the Colorado Trail, too, and they were perfect. None of the blisters so many other hikers complained about. My only beef is that the men's trail gloves don't come in smaller sizes, or the women's don't have a wider option. Love these shoes, though!

I have had many glove shoes and wear them until they wear out. This pair is great like all the others. I walked over 5 miles the first day I wore them. They are lightweight, comfortable, and flexible, plus make me walk with my feet straight forward rather than like a duck.

I’m extremely happy with these! Based on the other reviews, I ordered a half size down from what I normally wear (I wear a women’s 11.5 in Brooks running shoes so I ordered an 11). They fit perfectly. I’m a runner and I’ve been having some serious foot pain, and I ordered these hoping to find some relief and a shoe I could walk a lot in without making the pain worse - and these are doing the job!! I’m amazed and thankful. There is definitely arch support, so if that’s not what you want, be aware - but I am thrilled with it. I love the barefoot shoe concept and have worn a lot of Merrell Glove shoes (they’ve never worked for my running, though), and I’m ecstatic to find something that gives a bit of support in the right places without being all built-up and squishy. Thank you, Merrell, thank you, Zappos!! (Oh, and I love how they look, too. Beautiful blue.?)

You should order half a size smaller than your normal size for this shoe to fit. If you are used to the prior versions of the Trail Glove, know this will take a little period of adjustment. The sole is a bit stiffer and the arch support is definitely firmer, maybe even a little bit higher. But once you get used to this change, you should be fine with the shoes - I am. I purchased this in the Sunny Lime when they first came out, so I've been wearing the 5 version for about 6 months now. I use them for on-track sprinting, training and general walking. I haven't tried them out on a trail yet, but am confident they'll be fine for trail running. As usual for a barefoot shoe, they can be tied quite snugly around the midfoot, yet offer plenty of room for toe splay in the forefoot. I have a narrow ankle/heel but can tie them such that there is no slippage in the heel. I just ordered and received these in the new Dragonfly color, which is beautiful.

Very comfortable and lightweight. I have wide feet and really appreciate the roomy, rounded toe box. I wear them for walking, no running.

Based on other reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than what I normally wear and it fits perfectly. Excellent construction and washes well. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys the "barefoot" feel with good arch support.

I bought this for my partner after enjoying the Men's version so much. I sized mine down a half-size per the recommendation, and the worked great, but we bought her's at her regular size, and it was perfect for her. There is indeed a significant arch in these shoes. I have very flat feet and like to wear "barefoot" shoes, but my chiropractor said I should be wearing shoes with good arch support to help prevent back/posture problems later in life. And these feel great on my flat feet. My partner has very high natural arches, and they also feel great to her. So, shrug!

I loved how this shoe fit like a barefoot shoe and gave me wideness in the toe. I was hoping the high arch would be the perfect blend for me in a barefoot shoe. If the arch fit my shoe correctly, I would have kept them, but it is too far back for me, and its so high, my foot isn't going to adjust. If you are looking for arch i a barefoot style shoe i'd look to this shoe but i have to return it.

Bought these in Colorado and hiked to ice lakes the next day. Super comfy right off. I like the feel of the ground under my feet. I wore wool socks. We walked through some rivers and our feet felt dry within moments. Went through Arches also. Love them whole time. Usually I wear size 9-got these in 8.5. Definitely one of my best purchases. Bought another on line when I got home in a different color

This is my 3rd pair of barefoot shoes. However this pair; with out toes, is a first for me. I love them! Super comfortable and has the right amount of support that I need. Now if Merrell could make a line of solid black barefoot with no shoestrings , I'd tell everyone I work with.

I appreciated the warning that the size ran a little large. I am rehabilitating after a knee injury, and these shoes provide good arch support while encouraging foot and ankle mobility and giving my calf muscles a great workout.

These are my new favorite shoes to wear to the gym. I probably wouldn't wear them for longer runs, but they provide adequate and very comfortable support for just about everything I do at the gym. And cute to wear out and about too.

I like the fun colors, arch support, stickiness of the sole and I can still feel the rocks and twigs and surface-layer tree roots on the path. Great combination. Usually wear a 7 but 6.5 worked best in these. Now have 2 PAIR of them!!

I had been doing quite a bit of research for a shoe that I could use for the M22 triathlon this past June 8th in Glen Arbor, MI that would be good for running, dune climbing, biking and kayaking. I was pleasantly surprised that these shoes performed so well. I definitely recommended these shoes.

The lack of material was perfect to not weigh me down. I can feel the ground but indirectly. They still have some arch support and performed well on dirt/small gravel.
