I really loved these boots, however I had to return them due to them being slightly too narrow in the toe box. My feet run slightly wide - some non-"wide" shoes fit great and others simply will not work for me. My toes felt a little bunched up in one foot. However I really liked the shoes otherwise. They look great and feel great aside from the width issue for me. Construction seemed good and they definitely were a more classic-looking boot (like something you could get away with wearing to work) than other Merrell boots.

These are some of the most comfortable hiking boots I've ever had! They're really cushy, look good, and on top of it all they're waterproof! They will be my go to shoes for all my outdoor and urban adventures!

I like a boot that 'rolls' with my step, like a trail sneaker would. That's exactly what these do. My old standbys, the Timberlands kind of hesitate and are stiffer in the roll. These are all day, everywhere boots. Since I received the boots last week, I've hiked 25 miles in Montana wilderness, wet and dry and mountain biked about 15 miles. All experiences were outstanding. Not even consious that I had a boot on. Super pliable with excellent ankle support. And they don't look like every other hiking boot out there. Must try, will buy!

I am a woman who often looks to mens footwear to accommodate my wide feet. And although these boots are comfortable and supportive, they are quite narrow. I wish more shoe manufacturers would make wide shoes/boots. I think most people prefer wiggle room for their toes, and would rather not have the sides of their feet squished in their shoes.

These boots are very very comfortable, light weight. I wear 13 and M with, and wear crew socks with them. Even tho they are hiking boots I use these for work everyday. I purchased May 2020 and they are still holding up well. You won’t regret this purchase!
