I bought a pair from a local sporting goods store and they are amazing! Super light! Super comfortable right out of the box! Construction looks to be very good. These are my first Merrels but I can honestly say they won't be my last! Bravo Merrel!

My feet are on the wide side and quality proper fitting shoes and boots are not easy to find. The Alverstone hiking boots are agreat fit and took very little time to break in. Looking forward to many hikes in them. When it comes time for another pair, I'll certainly go back to Merrell's.

These are the most comfortable hikers I've ever worn

Very comfortable shoe. I wear them disc golfing on courses that are hilly and rocky. They provide the support needed to tackle these conditions

Over the years have tried many different brands but Merrell's products consistently excel. The Alverstone super comfortable and adaptive to the rugged terrain that we hike (AZ, UT).

Very comfortable right out of the box. Went on a 3 mile hike of dirt and rock to "break-in". I was not disappointed. Since I have had these boots for about a month I have logged approximately 70 miles hiking. They are standing up to my expectations 100%.

The Alverstone Mid hiking shoes were comfortable from day one, no break-in period. I go on short hikes over hilly terrain and these shoes provide good traction on all surfaces.

I bought these for my enormous 11 year old and he hasn't complained once qbout them which means they are great in kid talk.

These are awesome. Took them out of the box, put them on, and went hiking. Been on several hikes now, mostly around Golden, Colorado.

Merrell has a great a great boot in the Alverstone Mid. So comfortable right out of the box. The support and traction on the Alverstone Mid are spot on for hiking, hitting the trails and stomping through the woods. My feet stay dry and feel protected.

For being a postal carrier I would recommend these hiking boots from spring to fall. They take the hits for all terrain and overall they are very comfortable . I would purchase again

The shoes are just perfect! I simply love them. The color the fit the look. Absolutely love them. Oh and they are very comfortable.

It is seldom that I order a Merrell product because they hold up so well. But when I do I am never disappointed. In the past I have ordered a Swat boot, running shoe and of course hiking boots. I ordered a wide size in this latest boot and it fits me perfectly.

The shoe is comfortable and is very breathable I like the way it fits, and I like the color. I also like the way it supports my feet.

I'm use to wearing beat up sneakers in the woods but needed something more for when I'm out snowshoeing which is a new hobby. These fit perfectly, hold my foot in all the right "sweet spots" and are very functional for all my outdoor uses.
