Left show on the right side digs into ankle, needed to wear a sock and bandage thru out the 3 day hike.

I really wanted to like these, but these imitation Crocs lack adequate cushion and overall quality for the asking price. Definitely not footwear you'd be comfortable with venturing far from home or poolside.

a lil more narrow than i'd like and that makes them a tad uncomfortable, also causes blisters on my achilles tendon but they are still decent to wear in short spurts

They were great at first while I was wearing socks. I brought them on vacation and used them a lot. After the first day barefoot, I couldn't wear them because they rubbed parts of my feet raw and each step I took hurt. Also, debris gets through the holes and then you get to step on it until you shake them out. But I guess they would work well for water shoes or if you always wear socks with them.

Wrote up a lengthy review and lost it. I knew these would be dicey in the BWCA, but wanted to give it a go anyway since they are perfect for portaging. Here's bulletpoints... 1. These run big. Like big big. I wear 8.5 or 9s in all shoes. I ordered 8s and they still had heel chafe. When I portaged in these suckers and got mud in them, the sliding and slipping was crazy. My toe kept ramming into the front enclosure. 2. Again size issues: while carrying a canoe, my right leg went deep into a bog. I quickly pulled it out and lost my shoe in the bog because they are so loose. My friend Choi found the thing (miraculously), but these are not secure at all. I would've hated leaving a shoe in paradise (LEAVE NO TRACE, MFs). 3. Nailed my shin on a rock edge. Definitely not the shoe's fault entirely, but think it's possible I wouldn't have gotten hurt so badly in more proper hiking shoes. 4. Thought the sharp pain in my sole was something weird going on internally with my foot, but after inspection, there was a very small conal stick that had poked through the sole of the shoe and was poking my foot with every step. It wasn't a rock -- it was a STICK that had gotten through the shoe. It was very hard to get out, but the bigger issue was that it was day 3 with these shoes. I can't even imagine what a sharp rock could do them. Anyway, I changed into my back-up boots and will probably utilize these as gardening shoes. They are not hiking shoes even for light hikes and honestly am somewhat skeptical of wearing them to walk the dog in case of rocks or glass.

I took them to the trash! Make your feet sweaty and had blisters on the top of my foot. Croc has nothing to worry about

They keep erasing my comment but these shoes are way too narrow so just get you some Crocs. They're better and cheaper

Ordered my size of this shoe and when it came it was at least a full size too large. I ordered the next size down and it was tiny. Way too small. Not sure if I got the wrong shoe the first time or what. The shoes look nice, but they are made of a super slick material that, once wet, becomes even slicker. I got the shoe to wear during aqua fit classes but my foot slide around so much that it felt very unsafe. Definitely not a shoe I would want to hike in as advertised. It looks nice, but it is a major miss for me.

I bought the black version in store of the HYDRO MOC and it feels way sturdier and better plastic quality overall. The white version is quite loose and wobbly..

Shoe fit well, and the arch support was great. Pro: In the water, the shoe moved well and stayed on my foot. Con: The holes in the shoes let in small rocks and sand - I used them on Lake Huron in Michigan - and I had to take them off to rinse out the stones. On further review, I'd probably have sacrificed the arch support for not having the rocks get in and I'd have bought a different shoe.

They are soft and comfortable and look cool. However they run very very large. I am almost universally a 13, and the size 13 was huge as if it was a 14 or 15. Also the raised back of the heel tore me up. I was blistered quickly and caused me to wear these with socks. Would stick to crocks.

I bought a pair a while back and had to replace them , these new ones are nothing like them comfort and material wise. Great shoes to wear around but not what I expected from the first guy. These were way harder and less material to them.

The style of the shoe is fantastic and they are supportive and have a lot of cushion. I purchased these for a hike in the rainforest and they were perfect, EXCEPT, the back heel comes up so high that it rubbed my Achille's area raw. It doesn't make sense why the back is so high. If it weren't for that one design flaw, these HydroMocs would be perfect.

After wearing for longer than 30 minutes I have blisters form on my feet. These are the only shoes that create blisters. I would much rather wear Crocs.

I had been looking at these for months. I was so excited when I bought them that I wore them out of the store. You see, I had a sock on so all was fine. The next day I walked maybe 1/2 mile one way then the same home. This day I didn't have socks on and due to the shape of the heel section it tore the skin off my heel. Now I have to fold the back of these down just to wear them but it makes them uncomfortable. I guess I'll just have to wear these with socks but this defeats the reason why I bought them for going to the pool or into water. It's a disappointment, but I can use them for limited things or wear socks.

After cutting one half of a suburban tract house (1/4 acre) I developed a blister on my left heel. The heel reaches unusually high and the plastic is unforgiving. I have other Merrell footwear and have enjoyed the fit, construction and durability. This purchase is a disappointment

Boring boring boring. Shame on you gender limiting selection. Take a look at Native brand shoes. At least there's some choices for my size of foot.

The back strap broke instantly the first time putting them on. Which sucks because I was really looking forward to wearing them. Oh well, I'm the return process now and excited for the new pair.

I've had these for a few days, I've been wearing them around the house and have decided they just don't work for my feet.. My feet are just barely within normal width in most shoes, and I generally prefer a more relaxed fit in my shoes (i.e. Birkenstock Boston). I had hoped these would have a really relaxed fit like my Birks do, but I find that the sizing just doesn't cooperate with my feet. My typical size is an 11 for most shoes (43 in Birkenstocknot sure on my normal Merrell size, first pair), and per everyone's recommendation I went a size down to a 10. The toes have a ton of room, but the width is too narrow. It's just a really awkward fit that's *so close* to being comfortable but not quite there. But I know if I exchanged for an 11, they would be way too big in the length. Guess I'm in between sizes. A bit frustrating as I love how lightweight and (theoretically) relaxed these are, but they just don't quite work for me. YMMV, I suppose.

Never even wore these outside. The plastic clip that attaches the heel strap to the shoe broke immediately. Merrell did provide a return tag and replaced the shoes. This the second issue I have had with a Merrell product in the last 6 months. Quality is not what it used to be.

The Hydro Moc were nearly two sizes too large for me. I ordered the size I thought would fit. I returned them immediately. During the return and reimbursement, I reordered two sizes smaller, which fit fine. In the end, buyer beware and read the reviews!

I always wear a US size 11 in all my Merrell shoes. When these arrived they were at least 1 whole size larger than expected. Ordered a set in size 10
